Great meal nice to see 4 vegetarian meals to choose from the chunky chips were amazing also had the option of skinny ones . They restaurant is perfect really nicely done friendly staff . My first choice main meal has sold out which they were quick informing me of . Will defiantly go again .

My family and I have just had a lovely weekend celebrating my mother's 90th birthday and we booked afternoon tea at the Priory prior to us all departing and going our separate ways.
From the very first phone call to enquire, the booking where they informed us they were fully booked in the restaurant but could accommodate us in the lovely bar area right through to our arrival the service was brilliant. Nothing was too much for the lovely staff. As for the afternoon tea itself what can I say? We were a party of 10 plus baby and everything was superb. The service, the cakes, the yummy large cream scones with butter, jam and fresh cream all served seperate (that's scone and not scooone). Enough said, to cut it short and sweet SUPERB! Thankyou everyone at the Priory it makes a refreshing change to find a place so lovely and genuine.

This is a beautiful spot to have a meal in the picturesque village of Scorton. Nice outdoor seating and the food is very good quality with a good range of choices. Idyllic setting, always love coming here!

My husband and myself had a lovely meal at The Priory. It was very busy and expected a wait, but no, service was as fast and efficient as always. I had the Cajun Chicken which was succulent and very tasty, vegetables cooked to perfection, sticky toffee pudding for dessert was delicious. Hubby and I shared a bottle of sauvignon blanc, which was perfect (extra kudos to the wine buyer)
The priory has now become one of our fave places to eat, just wish we lived nearer!

The Priory is a lovely family run business. All of the meals are excellent. The accommodation was very good and Julie, Rachel and the other staff are there whenever you need something. My only whinge was the free wifi was a little intermittent.
