i loved the place. i can remember thinking while we were out touring that i could not wait to get back to the resort and take one of their outdoor showers. Southern lao is beautiful but a bit dusty. i would definitely go back.

We stayed here for two nights after doing some serious trekking and strenuous outdoor activity the previous several days. It was a perfect retreat for rest and relaxation! We took advantage of the spa and massage services, spent time on our balcony enjoying the view of the Mekong river, and ate several very tasty meals in the restaurant. The rooms are spacious and very nice, and the outdoor (hot!) shower was a real treat! I would definitely stay here again.

Wow, this is The place to be in the South of Laos! Along the mighty Mekong, great rooms, very friendly staff, good restaurant with a amazing view on the river. Value for money too! Very close to Vat Phong. Highly recommended.

We stayed three nights at this lush and green, rather smart resort, arranged for us by Selective Asia. Our family villa room was upstairs, with a balcony and absolutely wonderful views over the Mekong. Great to watch the fishermen at sunrise from the balcony or from bed, with a cup of tea made in our room, or enjoy a drink from the minibar listening to the crickets as the sun set. A magical spot indeed. You’ll need your anti mosquito lotion for sitting out in this location, but the resort villa rooms have good nets and our room was realatively easy to keep mosquito free!
We ate at the hotel open air restaurant every evening and found plenty to choose from, with a good range of western and Asian options. We enjoyed all our meals, and service was excellent. Breakfast was good too, but we would have liked some more bread options as well as the rather sweet slices there were to toast (e.g. brown?) - but maybe that’s not available at this slightly remote location. One of us had a massage at the spa, which was great and a lovely option to have right on site. Hotel provided us with a boat crossing to meet our guide at the opposite river bank, which was ideal and very prompt and comfortable. We also had laundry done, which was not expensive and very convenient. Sadly we didn’t get chance to use the free bikes.
All in all a wonderful spot and a lovely exclusive hotel, and we loved having it as our base for exploring the Mekong River and the nearby Wat Phou UNESCO Site.

Very beautiful, modern hotel in a generous garden setting, I appreciated a room with Mekong view on the second floor. Cannot be better! Two splendid swimming pools, you get the impression to swim in the Mekong itself. Very helpful staff with good english language skills. The short boatride was a charming treat when they came to meet me across the river and took me to the hotel. Breakfast was good but in such a hotel with a rather high price I would expect a selection of "homemade" jam, a selection of juices (not only orange), j a selection of various goodies, perhaps salmon and above all a selection of various breads - not only white toast. The Omelette was delicious.
