This is a lovely hotel in a good location but I think that's what you pay for. The room was so small we couldn't even unpack, didn't explore much more of the hotel - breakfast isn't included and is crazy expensive. It's ok if you are just looking for somewhere to put your head down and aren't in all day like we were but you can't spend any more time there because it's so claustrophobic

Lovely food, served professionally (could have been a little more jovial in manner) and a sophisticated atmosphere. The best food we found in New York, it had a European feel with plenty of choice on the menu

We liked the Roger even though the Bathroom was just too small. We paid around 375 austalian dollars for a night ( 4 nights) and we wished the bathroom would be bigger. The room was very quite but of course we had no views. ON one hand a big house was build and on the other side we looked into a dark backyard.
THe location was brillant and the staff was nice!

Just stayed two nights at the Roger. Great overall experience. I appreciated the 360 customer service, from the quality interactions with the front desk and doormen to the text follow up (with drink specials) from the general manager. It made you feel like the cared about your experience and certainly wanted to earn your business. The rooms were fine...nothing stood out...perhaps a bit worn. But beds were great and everything was where you expected. The small bar in the lobby was the highlight of the trip due to the attentive service provided by our bartender. It made you want to be in the space whether you were drinking or not. I definitely would recommend staying here as it offered a nice place to recharge and connect.

I was only in New York for one night on a work trip, but staying at the Roger was a great experience! The location was amazing with easy access to the subway. Also loved the style of the hotel and the yummy breakfast in the morning!
