As I sit on a plush arm chair in my luxurious, expansive Royal Peacock suite at The Royal Retreat, I realise that I never want to leave. I have been here several times over the last ten years, and each trip has me feeling refreshed: waking up to sunlit mornings awash with green trees, fillin’ up on fresh cut fruit and all sorts of delicious food, watching master craftsmen and karigars unscrewing tabletops and carving intricate motifs into pliant marble, lazily gambolling in the pool, playing with the dogs or feeding the horses - this place has just about everything to offer! Oh do your muscles ache from having run around the immense property in search of the Red Breasted Flycatcher? Well, the Royal Spa has got your back (hah, quite literally!).
I’m not a ‘lap-of-luxury’ person and the opulence and brilliance of the resort is but coincidental for me. But what makes this place stand out is the multitude of experiences it offers coupled with the exceptional hospitality of the staff whom I have been seeing year on year this past decade.

Excellent hotel cum resort. Very good for family outing or outdoor/ off site meetings. Good for morning exercises. Good entertainment for kids. Historical background. 3 big swimming pools. Good food quality. Room service is poor due to long distance. Site nicely developed. Kids can enjoy Horse, camel rides.
Excellent service

We have been there for 2 nights with family. Everything was perfect. Staff was very well supportive. As per request they provide breakfast in room. And complementary Birthday cake was nice. Specially thanks to Shahin from reception and Kiran ji and Bhagavansingh ji from restaurant.

My uncle and aunt had come on a visit to Rajasthan
This was on the second day of our tour when we checked in to this resort
It is well maintained with very cooperative staff
The rooms and the ambience was truly worth its money
The property is vast and has innovative landscapes and artistically crafted with antique sculptures
The food was good
Over all , I will definitely recommend a stay at this retreat
Its near to the lake, so the evenings can be well spent
