Saffron Verda is an excellent place to due to its central location. The staff were friendly & efficient. Food was good. Assistant front office manager Cassandra Patel has very high professional competence and communication skills. Enjoyed my stay at this nice hotel. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay at The Verda Saffron. The staff was very courteous & they entertained all our requests. The hotel is located near the city center, so everything is easily accessible. We liked the food at the in-house restaurant as well. Only area of improvement could be to de-centralize the room air-conditioning as we had to constantly call the reception to make any temperature changes in our room. Overall, definitely worth recommending :)

The room was quite spacious and clean. We booked a Deluxe room for triple occupancy and the housekeeping were quite fast in getting the additional bed set up & in providing additional towels etc. The king size bed was quite comfy. Good amount of space for your luggage & a spacious wardrobe completed the amenities
The flipside of staying in the heart of the city though was the noise of vehicles. The additional bed provided was not comfortable. Entire night the noise of the generator affected the quality of sleep.
The complimentary breakfast spread was quite good with fresh juice, flavored yoghurt & eggs made to order apart from the South Indian fare of idlis, dosa & vada etc. They also had paranthas for North Indian
All in all a good stay. Mangalore is a small town so most of the places are easily accessible. This hotel is just a few hundred metres walk away from Ideal ice cream, City Centre Mall, St Milagres Church to name a few of the spots

Stayed in this nice hotel with family - best part is its right located in the heart of Mangalore area - Hampanakatta and thus easily accessible to all places possible! Room stay was also very good with all amenities available - on top of it the staff at this hotel are very courteous and friendly!
Only one thing is that the buffet breakfast spread is not so much and can be improved a bit - though everything was quite tasty!!

We booked at the last minute because all the popular hotels had sold out.. had a miserable experience with the overall look and feel of the hotel.. the morning breakfast service is lousy too and below average.. best avoided
