A lovely stay at Sandpiper with Helen and Russ great host with a beautiful B&B. Breakfast made with local ingredients is top quality. The rooms are very clean and you can take you dog. Torquay is a lovely place to visit.

We'd definitely return. Great location, very close to everything. The facilities and food were great and the staff were helpful and friendly. The cleanliness was first rate. The offer to pick us up from the train station was gratefully accepted.

we have stayed 3 nights in the hotel, and it was great experience. Good location, clean and comfortable room and very nice hospitality.
The quality of breakfast, the bar downstairs they all added together and makes the stay comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed here a couple of weekends ago for 2 nights along with our Beagle and Border Terrier. We booked very last minute on the Friday afternoon and arrived at about 7pm where we were met by Russ and his daughter who gave us a very warm welcome which was a relief after a long day. Our room was number 5 and it was lovely! Beautifully clean with a large comfortable bed and there was even a couple of dog treats and dog waste bags left in the room for our dogs and a mat for us to feed them on which was a lovely touch. Russ pointed us in the direction of a great pub a short stroll away for dinner which was also very kind. The breakfast on both the mornings was delicious and I found the lady serving to be very attentive and chatty. If we ever needed somewhere to stay in Torquay again then I would definitely stay here.

What a lovely place to stay with excellent hosts they even threw in good weather as well. We are always limited to where we can stay because we have a small twelve year old whippet of which she is better behaved than most children. If ever we stay in Torquay again it will be the first place we will contact
