A pleasant stay in a charming pub. Good breakfast and friendly people. My only critic is that we booked a double and were given a twin.
Plenty of restaurants in walking distance in a pleasant village. Would definitely book again.

Stayed at the Saracens this weekend for three nights while visiting our family. It is a friendly pub with good accommodation and is reasonably priced. The Bar is welcoming with a log burner and good pub food. Will certainly stay again on our next trip to Amersham.

Fantastic full English breakfasts plenty of street parking nearby.Very comfortable bed and super hot shower.The owner was extremely friendly and made everybody feel extremely welcome.Will certainly use again when next in the area and recommend to all people looking for superb accomodation!

Came here for a lunchtime pint and food. And couldn't of been happier! Staff were great and talkative, and I could clearly see how the regulars felt about them. Food was great and had a allround great atmosphere

Went with a group of friends to the Saracens Head over the weekend. The location is Idyllic in the old part of Amersham, with an interior to match of wooden roof beams and a bar in the middle surrounded by tables with nooks and crannies plus an outside area. However what we were disappointed that two large screened TV's at either end were booming out sport, the pub is not large so space is at a premium. Our table was right under one of them and you can imagine not a pleasant place to sit and eat. The place was busy with locals enjoying the football and visitors/dinners, but to me the owners need to decide what they are pitching for as the two don't match. The food we had was excellent with a good choice but because of the noise we won't be rushing back.
