Lovely hotel - with absolutely excellent service! The staff were all very friendly and we found our weekend trip away was significantly enhanced by our warm, inviting stay here! Would go again without a doubt!

What an amazing hotel and wonderful staff, imagine our joy when we entered our room to find this amazing surprise, never have we experienced such personal care in a uk hotel and the team here are a credit to the hotel. This has truly made today even more special thank you to all the amazing staff
This it definitely the Best hotel in London by far and the most attentive and I would recommend anyone visiting London to stay here you will not be disappointed

The Piccadilly looks after us to perfection again. When we are in London we will always stay here this is the second time we have celebrated my wife's birthday and once again the Piccadilly went the extra mailed to make it special with a free room upgrade, chocolates, balloons roses and a huge slice of cake. Nothing was too much trouble and you are always made to feel special. Thank you to all the staff and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
I could only give you a five star rating but if there was a 5+++ you would have had it no problem. Absolutely brilliant!!

you can find all in high quality and smiling faces. everyone wants to help you then they achieve it. The Piccadilly West End will be the top choice for me for my next trip to London. I highly reccommend as a location also.

Normally I rely on TripAdvisor as a good source for reviews. Unfortunately I am not at all in agreement on the high amount of 4 and 5 stars for this hotel.
First of all I will say that the staff at this hotel is very friendly and professional and I had no issues whatsoever and would give them 4 or 5 stars based on my (albeit) limited interaction with them. My 3 stars are solely based on the hotel itself. I was planning on staying at another (real) luxury hotel which I had stayed at previously when in London but based on the reviews I took a leap of faith and decided to try something new.
This is an older building. The reception area is small. The elevator fits about 4-5 people max, but is very scuffed and scratched and looks and feels more like a cargo elevator. It is also very slow. I took the stairs when coming down from my room to save time. The carpets are worn and the hallways are also scuffed and scratched in places. My room was on the 5th floor and near a service office. The hallway, although narrow enough, was also used as a storage during the day for boxes of some sort (cleaning supplies etc).The room was well appointed and I give them points for trying, but the walls and corners were also scuffed and scratched in places and the carpet worn. The room and hallways also had a bit of a musty odour. Not overly offensive, but is noticeable when you first come in.
In summary, I just did not get a feeling of being in a luxury hotel. The overall impression was more like a 3 star trying to be a 4. I guess it depends on what you’re expectations are.
