Returning to a home away from home (Shelter) after 2 years was nothing short of home coming. Mr Alam, Murgesh & Uttam welcomed me like they never forgot me. Mr Uttam even remembered my love for ginger tea & Mr Alam of aloo paratha. Rooms have improved with addition wall paintings, services at hotel has additional wing of travel desk with Mr Ranjit & Sham giving personalised services, Mr Roy now replies to emails and calls within seconds & even the wifi has now connectivity for most of the day. If one wants to stay in a homely environment with warm hearted ready to serve people around & enjoy the majestic view of sea and islands from balcony mark my words there is no better heaven than the shelter in Port Blair.

Hotel location is good and staffs are really helpful. We didn't book the ferry tickets to Port Blair-Niel-Havelock-Port Blair, Murgesh (one of the staffs) from the hotel helped us in getting it done. Food and room arrangements were also done by Murugesh when we were stuck in Port Blair for an additional day :)

Its a kind of Rest house in the lap of Sea. Mt. harriot,chatham, phonix bay & light house and ongoing ships are seen from its balcony. Rooms are neat and clean,bathrooms are fine. Mr. Alam cook cum manager is superb. Uttam & Murukesh are the bell boy always serve us with pleasure. Mr. Ranjit tour manager and Mr. Shyam driver are too gentle. Nothing to say about their service and hospitality. Last of all Mr. Ashim Roy reservation manager is superb he fulfills all our need from Kolkata over telephone as when we want.

This is not a hotel but Guest house. The location of this guest house is in beautiful location, just on the seashore.Also very much nearby to cellular jail, and jetty. Overall service and warm reception is remarkable. I have to mention the name of Mr Ranjit(Mob-9932567242) who has cooperated us to make the trip enjoyable. They have arranged our staying, touring in Havelog and in Neil Island and everything going on very smoothly and comfortably.I also appreciate Mr Asim Ray(9038213134) who initiated the tour with booking of cruiz , resort in Havelog and Neil Island. Last but not the least if i not mention the name of Mr Shyam Kumar, the guide cum friend, it will be incomplete, with his car we roam around the Port Blair and enjoy with my family.

This property is not a hotel, this is home stay.The location is Nice, very calm & peaceful.The main tourist attraction such as Cellular Jail ,water sports complex are just walk able distance (approx 500 mtrs) & main shopping bazaar aberdeen bazaar is just 1 km away.The rooms interiors are good & very spacious,Neat &clean.
