The hotel is comfortable and very clean. The room decor is not really my style, but hey we're traveling. . . not necessarily supposed to be. Stayed for a family wedding and it was a very good value. Actually there in October of last year...Late review.

Perhaps its the name "Autograph Collection", but I had higher expectations for the property. The room was somewhat crowded and dated, the hallways needed to be updated and the elevators were extremely slow. On the positive side, the breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice bathrooms with large glass showers, but the bathroom had a fan that ran all night and still had peeling wallcoverings. The door to the hallway had a one inch gap at the bottom that let in lots of noise and light.

My wife is a die-hard UNC- CH grad and loves this place enough that we spent our honeymoon night here before flying out to Virgin Islands from RDU. Much better than a week in the BVI..wow...haha! Always come back when in the area...can't go wrong with the European touches and service.

We have stayed here many, many times while visiting family members attending UNC. WE love this hotel. It's always very clean, the staff is wonderful and make you feel right at home. The food is very good and the bar is convenient as well if you want to dine out but have a drink before your Uber driver picks you up at the front door. It's pet friendly too which those of you who have pets know is hard to find. This place is VERY nice. Lots of place that allow pets are not so but this hotel is the exception.
We'll be back for sure!

Stayed while in the Raleigh area on business and needed a room for the night. The hotel is very easy to find, and the staff made check-in a breeze.
Once up in the room, there was a minor issue, but a quick call down to reception and all sorted - great service. (They even followed up a couple of days later by email to check which was a nice touch).
The room was well presented and comfortable.
We ate (and drank) at the bar. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The food was amazing (large portions).
Certainly not just a chain, and would stay here if in the area.
