Stayed at the sikkim retreat for three days during our sikkim trip in November. The rates are reasonable and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a small spread of essentials like eggs, bread, milk, cereals and aloo paratha. The restaurant serves tasty food.
Location of the hotel is good. The MG Marg is a 15 minute walk away. There is a uphill climb on the way which is the only difficult part. Taxis are commonly available if you prefer not to walk.
I recommend the hotel for a nice stay in the city at decent pricing.

If you like calmness, neatness. This is the place to stay in gangtok.
A little far from mg marg.
Nice view from rooms.
Very clean hotel.
Staff very professional.
Ask for rooms on first or second floor.
You can take a cab to mg marg.
The food is very good.

good hotel vry good interior with big rooms nice hotel stuff but need to add more variety in dinner simple chati and regular vegetebale sabji we can not eat all day three days punjabi food need to add more light food in in like pav bhaji or sev puri chat in dinner break fast was vry good all stuff person are vry good enjoyed our stay in gangtok

Nice hotel with well maintained interiors. Food is good. Staff is co-operative. Beautiful exterior view. Room has a wide balcony from where we can get a nice exterior view of the mountains. Very near to MG Road for local shopping.
