Great Keralan breakfasts. Comfy rooms with ensuite bathroom and air con. Note that it is not a western style shower, but there is hot water. Ideal if you want a home stay with minimal input from the owners. Madhu is very friendly and lets you get on with it. Lovely garden area to have breakfast.

A lovely building over 350 years old. We had a non air conditioned room but the fan was fine. Good value and central location in Fort Kochi. The staff were very helpful which was much appreciated. Would have liked to have spent longer here as it was laid back atmosphere. Very nice communal areas.

The spencer home is a really great place.located in the best place, close to the main street in kochi but a bit behind so you get to have more quit environment which you really need in India.
I had the garden room- clean, comfortable room, with a table and chairs just out of the room to the Garden View.
But the best of this place is Madhu, the guy that take care for every thing. He is really nice guy, really helpful, so friendly and has this calmness that you will jealous of.
I did Raga Meditation with him everyday. a medical way to wake up. truly recommend this! so the place is really good, beautiful and clean, and the stuff are super friendly, helpful and open to the guest. what can you ask more?

Found this place by accident, walking around the Parade Ground. It's fabulous and homey. Manager is super friendly, and responsive. He asked what I wanted for breakfast and procured the best idli and sambar I had in Kerala. The room was comfortable and the manicured garden was a peaceful refuge in the middle of all the activity of the city. Particularly enjoyable were the morning and evening raga sessions which were a deep heartful meditation period with Madhu, who generously shares his traditional practice with guests. I was so grateful to be there with him.

This guest house is located the heart of fort kochi, very friendly staff and helpful. We will get home made food after order as per the menu. nicely cleaned and royal looking home...Free raga meditation every morning and evening. Laundry services, train tickets and bus tickets availaable.
