My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and found the hotel to be excellent. the staff, particularly on reception, were really helpful and ensured we had a great stay. Clearly the Hotel is going through a major refurb, they contacted me in advance to ensure I was aware of this fact and to check I was happy to go ahead with the booking. Apart from the obvious fact that there is no restaurant, the ongoing work caused absolutely no disturbance, and of course we stayed in the newly built/refurbished rooms. our room was excellent, my wife commented on the fact that everything had been thought out and everything actually worked. good lighting is essential as is a good shower. the room even had a fridge with milk supplied for the super coffee machine. The location is marvellous and the nearby town of Goring is simply a delight. we came for the country and Thames walks and were not disappointed in any way. We certainly hope to be able to return for a future stay.

Myself and my partner stayed here as part of bis birthday celebrations. Jess, The Receptionist was exceptional right from making the booking, through to us checking out. She helped me make my partner’s birthday extra special boy providing drinks in our room upon arrival, flowers and a card from the hotel staff! She also booked us a table at the local Italian, Rossini where we were looked after and given a river view table. The hotel itself was absolutely perfect in every way, the room decor was spot on, beds were extra comfortable and the open fire in the bar area was lovely to warm up in front of after we returned from our meal. All in all, one of our best trips away, if we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be staying at The Swan at Streatly.

Once again Carmen and Iulia exceeded my expectations by delivering outstanding levels of service again. These ladies make you feel so welcome and valued as a customer.
Carmen greated me like a long lost friend, which was wonderful - This lady is exceptional!
Dont let the fact that the hotel is being refurbsihed prevent a visit - there is very little disturbance. There are a few really good eateries within walking distance.
Once again a truly memorable and confy stay.

I always stay here for the centurion running events. The race hq is 3 minute walk and the start of the rave is under a 1 minute walk.
At the moment they are still doing works to the hotel but when it will be finished it will look awsome.
The rooms are beautiful
The rooms with the river view are lovley
Friendly staff too
Loads of parking

Just returned from a 3 night stay, I have visited this hotel many times and it never fails to impress. There is major renovations going on and in my opinion they don't interfere with the hotel at all. We never heard any construction noises the whole time we were there.
We had a lovely river room leading onto the terrace which was amazing. The rooms are immaculately decorated and housekeeping keep the standards 1st class. The only slight niggle i had was that the further you got away from the reception, the lack of Wi-Fi you received, so we unfortunately couldn't get access in the room. Well worth a visit, can't wait to return and see all the progress
