A short, sweet and memorable family mini-break!
HarrenMumbai_India on 21/11/2017 05:54
The quiet, luxurious and sylvan setting made it the perfect Taj property for a mini break along with my wife and teen daughters. While we stayed for only 24 hours, the quality of the experience was quite superb.
Our upgraded club rooms were simply gorgeous, and so was the warmth and hospitality extended to us by the hotel staff.
Our lunch at Masala Klub, was quite memorable with the kebab platter being the standout. Later, the mai tais and Mojitos at the Blue Bar were perfectly made. Our highlight though, was the dinner at the Blue Ginger, where the recommendations by our excellent table-steward were spot-on. The mango papaya salad, soft noodles and lemongrass chicken were outstanding; so was the coconut cream dessert.
We also used the fitness centre and the hair salon that were top notch.
A couple of small areas that could be fixed would be; a more informative and pleasant check-in experience, and a wobbly basin faucet in our room (1102). Small indeed, considering the rest of the experience!
Special thanks are due to Mr Somnath Mukherjee, Mr Shawn and Mr Ranjith Kumar whose consideration and courtesies were heart warming. We look forward to coming back to this wonderful property soon.

Excellent customer care, comfy beds in a spacious room, and a choice of two places to eat/drink.
This hotel is a sound choice if on business and is well located for tourists too.
It is currently being refurbished but the works didn't in any way interfere with my stay.

fantastic and large property in the heart of the city and yet so quiet and peaceful. ive stayed at many hotels in bangalore before but this one takes the cake! the breakfast spread is simply amazing and the chef at the live counter makes some great south indian food. this property is over a 100 years old and the upkeep and maintenance is top class. never really got around using the pool and gym for lack of time but i did have a look and all the equipment was top class. staff are very courteous and friendly. if you have spare time at hand in the evening walk around this large heritage property and you wont be bored. so much to discover about this place.
An oasis of tranquility in the middle of a city

The Taj West End is a very unique property - a tastefully renovated heritage property, what sets it apart is the amount of greenery all around you, not something that you would expect in a Business hotel in a city like Bangalore. This was the first time I have stayed here and was very impressed with the friendliness and courteousness off all the staff who I interacted with.
I was given a ground floor room in the newly renovated wing and I loved the balcony that opened out to what felt like a forest. Drinking a cup of coffee in the morning looking at the greenery (esp. after an overnight rain), is one of the best ways one can start the day on a work trip.
The room was very spacious and extremely well laid out. I loved the nice alcove between the main area and the bathroom for the cupboards. And the work area with the big table.
I had booked for a 3-night stay but had to cut it short due to an emergency - will definitely return for a more complete stay on one of my next few trips to the city.
