Being in IT industry and working in hectic environment I was desperately looking for a good holiday. Along with my friends I decided to visit Rajasthan especially jodhpur and Jaisalmer. We booked Thar Oasis by searching on Internet. It was pleasure experience with Thar Oasis; the camp site is amazing. We enjoyed Jeep Safari and camel ride and believe me entire exercise was super entertaining. I feel relaxed and refreshed after my holidays at Thar Oasis. Thanks to team at Thar for making this experience wonderfull.

Last Diwali trip I decided to go to Jodhpur for family holidays and was searching for hotels who server authentic Rajasthani food like Dal-bati and churma. After reading reviews on various online platform I booked Thar Oasis near Jodhpur. It is in Gumanpura village near jodhpur and best thing about it is free from city noise pollution and amazing place to get relaxed. As I mentioned about food we all enjoyed eating Dal bati at Thar and must say it was lifetime memory for me as a food lover. The cultural night was also good at Thar and we enjoyed our 2N -3D trip a lot. I highly appreciate the Thar hospitality and recommend them for booking.

This place serves really good food. Try their buffet style lunch and you will know. I went there at my friend’s wedding. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfy. The swimming pool area is beautiful and peaceful. The staff was friendly and helped us while escorting to our rooms. I would give one a thumbs up for being a perfect venue for weddings near Jodhpur. Will surely recommend to my newly engaged friends about it.

We stayed for a night at their desert camp. The camp was beautifully setup with 40 odd tents. The serene atmosphere combined with the beauty of the desert is awe inspiring. We went on a safari in a 4x4 vehicle with camel safari. The ride in the dunes was exhillarating. Back at the camp, the tents were neatly furnished with neat bathrooms. The evening dancing with folk music was beautiful. There was only one word to say about the food lip smacking. The spread was very good for breakfast and dinner. Last but not least the staff were very courteous and the managers both Mr. Virendra and Mr. Khusvendra were very helpful. It was an experience worth repeating

This resort can be anywhere. Its lush green so one does not get feeling of being in desert. I came here from Jodhpur. Expectation was a desert experience. The room was good. Airconditioner was powerful. The solar water heater did not work but hotel staff brought hot water to room in buckets. They arranged for desert safari at extra charge of Rs 2200 for three. Its 4by 4 Mahindra vehicle. The driver took us for 45 minutes ride in semi desert, semi because its not completely barren as we see in movies..there were plenty of bushes, shrubbs etc. There were hutments and people working on farms. Saw couple of desert deers. There are only two large dunes from where driver gives you feeling of drop i.e. driving down a slope. We requested him to stop so that we can climb sand hillock and he obliged. Climbing in sand was incredibly difficult though. The resort has a restaurant . bit expensive but you do not have option, as you are in middle of nowhere. There is only one dhaba nearby at about 2 km. The hotel staff was very helpful. Owner himself stays here and he made sure that we had a comfortable stay. The breakfast was excellent. Preparation fresh. There is swimming pool. The restaurant was bit away from our cottage and looked deserted at night . There were not many tourists during our visit. We were alone along with another family of four. There are fourty plus cottages and that looked bit odd and scary at first.( we were in middle of nowhere with very few people around and were immediately worried about safety) But hotel staff and specially owner were nice and put our apprehensions at ease. Overall though initially it looked bit scary at night ( we were alone) , we had memorable stay.
