We stopped and asked a local where we should eat for lunch, the quick response was try the Three Horeshoes Hotel, you won't be disappointed.
Off we went, there are a choice of rooms to sit in so as we were with friends and wanted to have a chat and catch up we opted for the room in the middle which seemed quieter and very comfortable.
There is a good choice of Menus from snacks to full meals. The staff were all very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Three of us opted for the Steak & Ale Pie which was excellent, the meat was rich and tender, the hand cut chips were chunky and well cooked. My wife has a few dietary restrictions and choose the Honey Roast Ham which also was very nice.
Pricing is middle of the road with something for everyones budget. We will be visiting again soon !!!

The room was spotless, breakfast of porridge and full English was wonderful with good quality products. The staff where helpful and very pleasant. We cycled for the day and it was a warm welcoming environment in the pub on our return.

You pick a place from the internet for one night and think that'll be okay. What a little gem, from check in to check out it was brilliant. We'll be back in the future. We had a great stay and breakfast was excellent.

One thing I will say b4 I start is dont even bother reading any slightly negative reviews about this place. Both me and my wife stayed here the Thursday just gone and it was just amazing from start to finish. We arrived a little early however that was no issue and we were immeadiatley shown to our double room with a spacious king bed. The room was spotlessly clean and very well furnised throughout. We ate in the restaurant in the evening even asking the staff if we could delay our reservation time by half and hour. Again this was not an issue and the staff more than happy to do so. The food is excellent and of restuarant standards at pub grub prices. We both had three courses each with me having the chicken parmo (highly recommended) and quite a few various alcoholic drinks and i could not believe how cheap the bill was upon settling up. Breakfast the next day was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had and we even went next door to the butchers to get ourselves some of that lovely peat dry cured bacon to take home with us. To summarise fantastic 5* stay and food and would definitely return if back in the area.

A nice modernised comfortable room,quiet despite being on the ground floor, good bathroom, lots of hot water and bath and shower. Food was lovely, portions prob too big . Staff were very pleasant. Would stay again if going to be in the area
