I stayed 3 nights recently and it was exactly what I was looking for a Hotel in the middle of 2 different cities I had to visit on business. Veronica the front desk employee was the best no one can compare. She was pleasant to visit answered all my questions very very nice to my children who came to visit and to go out to dinner. This hotel is my hotel of choice at least once a month when I have my appointments in the same two cities.
Did The Trick

I'll start by saying, this isn't a luxurious, fancy spa or anything. It is however, clean and the rooms look recently re-done. Check in was quick & easy, and the staff let us check in early which was awesome. Parking is $10 and is in a decent parking garage. Coffee & popcorn offered in lobby 24/7.
Location is good overall. Close to Universal Studios, Hollywood Sign, Walk of Fame, etc...All are short drives, and Universal is walking distance (about 20-30 minutes if you'd like). Starbucks across the street is nice since no breakfast is offered.
This was good for what we needed. Close to attractions and clean.
Not what is seems

The biggest problem, of many, with this 'hotel' is its location. I walked and walked but could find no open restaurant on a Friday night. The hotel didn't offer anything to eat. And I have no idea where those photos of the lobby were taken, but the lobby I saw was stacked with boxes and looked to be under construction. And being right next to the highway, it was very noisy. In fact, the whole place is quite unappealing.
This is at best a two star hotel (with a very good marketing photographer) and thus overpriced by far. It was worth perhaps half what I paid. I'd booked -based on marketing photos-for more than one night, but refused to stay. Although the front desk guy tried to intimidate me into paying, I persisted and only paid the one night.
I reckon they know this place is a bait and switch. I must end with a kudos to Veronica who was very nice. Thank you, Veronica, for being so nice to me.
Give this place a pass!
Spacious Rooms and friendly staff

I stayed at Tilt on a business trip, so I was looking for comfort but not necessarily additional amenities, and that's exactly what Tilt provided. The staff was very friendly, and the rooms very spacious and the beds comfortable. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, a lot more within ordering distance, and it's a quick Uber ride to Hollywood
Close to Universal & Hollywood

Location is great if you want to visit Universal and Hollywood. We only had 2 days, so wanted to be close by these spots as we didn't want to waste to much time in traffic. It's easy to get Ubers from here, to Universal is a 5min (7usd) ride. Even to West Hollywood was a quick ride, so perfect for us to visit this part of the city.
The hotel was pretty noisy, you could hear the neighbours talking. The room itself is pretty good sized and bed was comfy. Starbucks right in front to have breakfast. Upon check in, staff was very friendly, helped us book tickets to Universal. Pretty pricy for the room, but guess thats LA.
