Travelled Nov 2017 with a family member. My first visit to India.
1) The hotel - there's a small lift servicing all 4 floors. Surprised at how large the hotel rooms are. Furniture and furnishings a little tired maybe, but for the amount of time you spend in your room it was perfectly adequate. Large bathroom was very good. Good shower, complimentary shower gel and shampoo. Housekeeping kept everywhere very clean. Room cleaned every day and towels changed. We were disturbed a couple of nights in the small hours by some VERY noisy guests. This wasn't the hotel's fault - just inconsiderate fellow guests!
2) Breakfast options.....there was always roti or naan bread; and an Indian option (either a daal or chickpea dish; plus a vegetable dish (cauliflower or potato); some days onion bhajis); there was porridge every day, and fresh fruit (always watermelon, plus sometimes pineapple or papaya); also fruit juice (mainly mango, occasionally watermelon). There was an omelette station, plus toast. Restaurant manager and staff really helpful and attentive.
Can't comment on dinner menu as we didn't eat at the hotel.
3) Location....Hotel is situated about a 5-10 min walk from Patnem Beach (20 min walk to Palolem Beach or a 5 min tuktuk ride for 100 INR). Take a torch for night time!
We travelled to Candolim but preferred Patnem/Palolem so rang the Tubki and booked back in for the rest of our stay. Wouldn't hesitate to return to the Tubki. It suited us very well.

Very nice location..Patnem beach is walkable n very peaceful..nice shacks are there in Patnem beach..palolem beach is also nearby..they provide breakfast which is decent ..don’t expect much but it’s location is very nice so u can stay there

Good choice to stay with family. Food quality is good. Pool is very attractive for kids. All rooms are very spacious . You will get all felicities in kitchen if you want to cook. We have enjoyed complementary breakfast .

This was my second visit to Tubki. I had some complains during my first visit but this time it was different and we really liked our stay. This time it was a last minute booking since we were stranded by one of the so called good resorts in Palolem beach. So, thanks to God and Tubki that we got a decent room to stay during our two days trip and after a long road trip. We stayed in the suit which was big and spacious and with all basic required amenities. So, no complains. Breakfast was as usual - not a big spread but you would get all the basic food [they dont charge you much for a bigger spread].
I was little disappointed when they declined to make a packed lunch for my small kid during our check out giving a reason that they were busy with breakfast and cannot make couple of parathas now. I don't think for a hotel of this size making two parathas take much time but that really wows the patrons..which I guess was not their intent at that moment.
Still I would say that the stay was comfortable and surely would recommend it to others.

We booked this place after reading some good reviews and the owner accommodating us at fairly short notice and we certainly understood why when we got there.
The rooms were not clean but more importantly, as one of us walked into the kitchen (which looked like it hadn’t seen a clean in years) there was a huge cockroach there. To make matters worse, a centipede walking around the lounge of the apartment and then, when we were shown another room there was a cockroach in there too and a broken window.
Suffice to say we quickly (having travelled two and a half hours to get there) booked elsewhere only to be told that if they were to order us a taxi we would have to pay for it despite none of this being our fault.
A truly awful experience, we didn’t expect 5 star for the price but cleanliness costs nothing and nor does courtesy or the desire to make things right... none of which were offered.
