We stayed here a couple of times whilst visiting our daughter who is at Otago university. Very welcoming and helpful staff. First we stayed in the new building. Very comfortable spacious and modern rooms with great facilities. Second visit here we stayed in the main building. One of the bedrooms was a bit small but we had a good size lounge and kitchen. All very comfortable. Would have liked heating in the bathroom. The restaurant food is excellent, especially the chicken filo parcel. Breakfast was also good. We had the continental. Plenty of choice. Only slight downside was not really enough restaurant staff. Hotel is in a good central position and car parking is well worth it. Will definitely be back!

Good location, within walking distance to few attractions, railway station. Short walk to a big supermarket and Cadbury factory.
Hotel restaurant has bar & café plus Nandos is adjoined to it. Room is spacious & comfortable. We had a double and a triple share rooms. The reception is friendly and helpful with my request for info to nearby attractions. Free wfi, but parking is charge at NZ10 per day even for hotel staying guests.

Lovely Hotel, beautiful rooms and comfy beds! The staff are fantastic and very friendly. The food is fabulous and the breakfast buffet is superb! The hotel in right in the centre of the city so easy access to everything.Great parking and facilities

Very good value for money. Clean rooms with amazing bed, so so comfy and quiet rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff. The bed configuration was not right when arrived but they fixed it promptly with no issues, thanks. I’d stay here again.

Booked into the Victoria Hotel as friends were staying there to go to the seafood festival with us. They arrived earlier in the day, we arrived late afternoon. We were in the 'older part of the hotel, but the room was fine. One queen bed & a single bed in our room, two comfy chairs & coffee table as well as a desk & chair. Bathroom had shower over the bath, which for me is not the best, had a fixed shower head, I prefer a detachable shower head. We had room service breakfast on the second morning which was fine. Great location to shops & restaurants. Would stay here again, no problem!
