We arrived parking outside in public car park. Receptionist very informative and helpful. We booked an executive room worth that little extra room was very clean and large enough. Heating. Tea making. A comfy bed. We overlooked the car park. It was nice and quiet. It was a bit of a tour back to reception along corridors I did think how would I find my way back after a few sherbets lol. Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice. Buffet service. And fresh cooked eggs. Staff were all excellent. Late bar when we returned was good. We’re back in January. Looking forward to it.

Outdated 70s style room and a bit cramped for a double room. Noise from fans all night so couldn’t have the window open. Nice Italian restaurant and reasonably priced. Breakfast was ok as buffet breakfasts go. Car park and on road parking free between 6pm and 8am. Buy a ticket from the pay-and-display machine to cover you for the first hour in the morning. A ticket bought after 6pm runs from 8am the following morning.

Small rooms & had to go down three corridors & two flights of stairs to get to the room. Food quite basic. So was the coffee. Function room long thin horse shoe shaped. Would not recommend it & I would not go again

Last minute stay but worth it... Breakfast was good but felt very rushed as one of the waitresses was staring all the time and couldn't wait to grab our finished plates...room was really clean and next morning I found out her name was Julie she is doing a great job...

Signed in efficiently friendly staff. Upon entering the quite nice room immediately obvious there was a loud noise from outside. We phoned reception to see if we could move. The work experience trainee on reception (who was lovely) came up and showed us a room on the opposite side of the corridor - it was a double room but much tinier .. and was situated over the kitchen fans which were even louder ! We decided to stay put though wondered why a manager didn't come up to help us (does this happen a lot?). Amusing that we were shown the price of the room (it was a gift) , less amusing that we were told to tell the restaurant that we were on a voucher so we could get a set menu (feeling special at this stage ..?). The room was noisy all night but the food in the restaurant was really good. In the restaurant we were offered the chance to pay for an upgrade to the normal menu (feeling loved at this stage ...?). We didn't but the food was great so we relaxed into the experience. Toilet/shower was a bit damp smelling. Breakfast was nice on both mornings. Staff seemed nice, seemed like they must experience this kind of complaint a lot.
