Stayed with my son in April. Beautiful golf course view from our balcony. SPG Platinum so was given access to their club lounge which was very nice and convenient. Turn down service in the evening. The bagpipe player at sunset on the 18th green was a nice touch.

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We can't wait to return, and to bring friends and family with us next time!
We spent a lot of time at the serene adult pool. There's plenty of shade, and cups of ice water are free. We also enjoyed the lazy river. The general pool has zero entry and a splash pad but was a little loud for us. The property is lovely. We slept so well - the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The A/C in the room was whisper quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is great - definitely a highlight if it's included in your room price. It might not be worth the $26 if it's not included. The location of the property is great - it's located 1/4 to 1/2 miles from a bustling shopping and restaurant district, and the resort has shuttles running all day if you don't feel like walking. Also, it's close driving distance to anything you would need - groceries, gas, nail salon, bank, etc. The resort had some neat activities/events daily. Every evening, gorgeous decadent desserts (single servings) are available for purchase in the lobby. There's a bag piper and other live music in the evenings.
The only unpleasant surprise was that we had to pay $14/day for parking. We booked through amoma.com, and I'm not sure that they're particularly reputable, but we got a fantastic deal. If i ever find the deal again ($110/night + taxes, including 2 daily adult breakfast buffets), I would book it in a heartbeat. This was such a great vacation! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Stayed this weekend at the Westin Kierland Resort and one of the best all around greatest staff as far as friendliness, efficiency and feeling welcome. Beautiful grounds and very access by walking to a great shopping center with best restaurants, shopping and entertainment in AZ. Just a fantastic get away.

We visited the Westin Kierland on a family spring break trip. Its location is very convenient to the Phoenix airport and Scottsdale restaurants and other attractions. Having the mall across the street added a mix of shopping and dining options, and it was close to some convenient hiking and sightseeing. Things we liked about the property: Wonderful breakfast (included in our rate - really worth it!) and outdoor dining, lazy river and pool, children's activities like s'mores, basketball, giant chess set, "rescued" lobby reptiles, rolling green golf course view. Really nice service all around - in the restaurants, by the pool. Very clean. Things that we liked less: pool area was extremely crowded and seats hard to come by, some of the resort areas (tennis, ball field) felt like they were located in the middle of the parking lot and hence not very relaxing.

Having fallen out of love with Westin, following an awful experience in 2015 in Fort Lauderdale. We have decided to try the brand again, in April we had a brilliant stay in San Francisco. So what was so special about the Westin Kierland? Simple the staff! We were delighted by the friendliness and helpfulness of each and every member of staff we met. The resort is clean and well run, the adults only pool is great too! No complaints!
