The Westin Ottawa is in a terrific location; adjacent to the Rideau Mall, close to Parliament Hill & the Byway Market where there are lots of great bars & restaurants.
One dedicated person for check-in (outside of their Starwood check-in) on a Friday night of a conference was not well thought out and creates a bad start to the weekend.
Hotel staff ere friendly and helpful. Room was modern and comfortable, lots of pillows and a terrific view of the Chateau. Conference food, snacks during breaks was good; Starbucks coffee was a definite plus! I inquired about staying an extra night during check-in but the agent didn't want to honour the conference rate so they last an additional overnight stay, dinner, & breakfast. The car park was advertised at $25 per night but when I checked out we were $94 for 3 nights?

What a nice hotel! From the ambience, I do really love it. The room is spacious, clean, nice bathroom & modern interior. The food is great & I do love the ambience of their restaurant. The hotel is located in the heart of Ottawa, and it’s connected with CF Rideau Center mall. If u go out from it u can find others places like restaurants, stores, shaw center, and more just by walk. Really recommend for your stay 👌👍🏻.

We stayed in this hotel for one night. Our room is very spacious and nicely furnished. The location is very good. In the evening, we walked to the Parliament and then to the Byward Market area for dinner. We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay in this hotel.

Stayed for three nights as part of a conference in an upgraded executive suite with an amazing view towards the war memorial and parliament.
As always, the staff were incredibly accommodating and there were all the usual nice Westin touches. It really is a great offering and the bed was HUGE too.
Good location and attached to a large mall if you need retail therapy without going outside!

Excellent location with views of Parliament and just steps from the Byward Market. Typically solid Westin service and amenities and the shop on the first floor has great hours, though you are close enough to the market to get in some shopping, grab a Starbucks or Tim Horton's, and check out a number of local restaurants. Definitely my go to place in Ottawa.
