Nice boutique hotel

This is a small but comfortable and elegant hotel. The rooms have separate bathtub and shower, small refrigerator and plenty of space. There are 2 separate parking lots and the location is very convenient.The rooftop terrace has nice lounges and a pool. The pool's heating system is not functioning at this movimiento estudiantil mment. The view is very nice. There was no bellman on duty when I checked in or when I checked out. The personel were friendly. I will return.

An affordable yet luxurious stay in charming Punta Gorda

I traveled to Punta Gorda for business and while I am usually brand-loyal and have stayed at the Sheraton in the past, I decided to try my luck with the Wyvern hotel. I am incredibly impressed and had one of the best hotel stays ever! The hotel is small and well-appointed, with large clean rooms and very comfortable beds. Marble throughout the bathroom and the Tarocco blood orange toiletries are heavenly! My room faced the back where other reviews mention the live music from the Mexican restaurant but to be honest, I didn't hear anything loud enough to be disruptive to my work or rest. While I didn't have time to enjoy the roof amenities such as the pool or the roof top bar/restaurant, the outdoor rooftop space has amazing views of the Peace River. Another attractive feature? The hotel is pet friendly with a designated floor for pet stays. I love traveling with my two little dogs so I appreciate nice places to stay where I can bring them along too. The hotel is also within walking distance to many restaurants and shops along the riverfront and it's very well-lit so it makes for a safe evening stroll to dinner and back. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and accommodating as well. Overall, this was a wonderful stay and I can't wait to come back for an actual vacation. Thank you, Wyvern Hotel!

Average "Boutique Hotel"

Love Punta Gorda and usually stay at 4Points. They were booked so gave this a try. Billed as a "Boutique" hotel, found the rooms ordinary but decent. Young man working the desk who was not friendly and when called down for later checkout - (it was Sunday) told abruptly no. Maybe consider that your pool heater is not working and accommodate guests in another way as my wife planned on sitting at the pool while I was away. No complementary coffee offered other than hotel room packaged junk. Parking is a definite problem if an event was going on. Nice rooftop bar but lose the mediocre piano player. Everclear and Smashmouth in park across street and it was everclear with a piano bar organ solo! But good view of bands. I would stay here again but maybe upping their game a notch would make it "Boutique"

Awesome Views From The Rooftop

This is a very nice hotel in a great location. A pool and bar are rooftop, with amazing views of Peace River and the city. Don't miss the sunset from the rooftop! Rooms are roomy and very well done. Rachael at the front desk was very helpful. You can't go wrong with this hotel!

Stayed on a Sunday night when it is much more affordable. $99 vs $179 for the same room on a Friday.
Rooms was excellent, clean, everything worked, bathroom was also very nice.
I would definitely recommend this property. The hotel has a roof-top bar with live music some nights. This is open to the public and sports a great view of the river. Prices were a little expensive but worth it.
