We didn't stay there but just had dinner last night. To my surprise the food turned out to be a great value for money. Cheap and great taste. I'd highly recommend this over those other ones around. I'd also recommend avoiding the Gujarati restaurant right next to the Tiger Reserve pickup point.

We visited the hotel Lakeshore Inn for dinner. The food quality and ambience is average and service is below par. You need to ask many times for your order.
Overall, not at all worth your hard earned money.

Please beware of this hotel, do not choose this hotel. Very poor service. It's not same as the pictures shown. The receptionist very rude, the room condition was really horrible, bathroom without lock, TV was not working properly, we can't even take a bath because of the bathroom condition & dirty water. when we asked if there's any other room in better condition, they said "No mam all rooms are same". No hot water provided, the room full of insects. Actually, this hotel booked by our agency "Travelicious Holiday". So called 3 star hotel. I would definitely say that this hotel has no star at all. In the itinerary, it's stated as Blooming Paradise, but the agency changed in last minute due to customer gave a negative comment about Blooming Paradise after we made the deposit.
So i would advise you all that Do not make a mistake by choosing this hotel in Thekkady, It will ruin your day/trip.
That was the worst experience in my life.

We were part of a college tour and must say the hotel provided us with a comfortable stay for our budget. The staff were courteous and friendly. Cleanliness and hygiene was not an issue. The food was also good. The rooms are spacious enough. Overall great value for money.

If you visit Thekkady then please do not trap yourself in this hotel. This is one of the worst hotel in Thekkady and the charges are super duper high. In my case, I have selected the hotel 'Michaels Inn' via Make My Trip (MMT). When I visited the hotel, they told me, "the room is full but i can shift you in my sister concern hotel i.e. Lakeshore Inn". Before checking the hotel rooms, i have filled the form and give my passport to the hotel's owner for verification. After when i compared both the hotels, I took back my step from the hotel and asked the employee of Michaels Inn that i would be highly obliged if he could shift me in the same hotel." But he refused. Unfortunately, I forgot my passport there and the owner of the hotel 'Lakeshore Inn' was not willing to return my passport unless I will pay full amount. Then i have taken the support of MMT. After 18 days i got my passport when MMT has paid full amount to the owner. So please beware of this hotel.
