Sue and her little helper, Sophie, made us feel at home. A wonderful breakfast (full English with all the trimmings). The surroundings were picturesque. We will certainly look in, if ever up there again.

A lovely find and Sue is an excellent hostess I would have know problem recommending this glorious little find to you all very clean and tidy well presented what more could you ask for Yorkshire hospitality to its best

I was visited Thornton Lodge Farm as I was doing a drawing course with Mike Sibley in Sessay. What a great find. The room was well decorated and very clean.
The breakfast was unbelievable and kept me going all day. Fantastic quality at a reasonable price.
Very friendly and helpful people.
They have amazing facilities if you are lucky enough to have a horse to bring to stay.
Lots of wonderful wildlife on the doorstep, so remember your binoculars.

What a super place. Just returned from a weekend with a friend and our horses. Had a fantastic time.
Lovely place with excellent off road riding and good facilities for the horses. We were well catered for too with a comfortable room and fantastic breakfasts. Hosts most welcoming and helpful. Planning a return soon.

We're just back from 2 nights staying here, attending a family weekend in the area. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and very well presented. The breakfast was immense, good quality food served piping hot. Sue and Bill are so friendly and we had a great blether with them, very interesting people. We loved our stay here and will definitely return, with our chocolate lab next time. Thanks Sue and Bill..
