We arrived at this motel room and when we walked in we noticed a slight odor. We noticed a large opening at the bottom of the front door. The bathroom was not clean. There was mold in the tub/shower. The toilet seat needed to be replaced because it was peeling. There was a dominos pizza card beside the bed with the TV channels on it, however when we called the pizza place, they were no longer open so what's the point I'm the advertising? We ended up with Pizza hut which was great. This place was acceptable for the short time we were there but it definitely needs updating and a more thorough cleaning crew!

I stayed here for 4 LONG days. I "won" the room on Priceline for $28. This is a one star Motel for a reason.
Pros"
The best thing I can say about this room was they had good toilet paper.
Beds were clean, kind of. They weren't filthy. Water was hot in the shower.
They give you a real key for the room.
Con
My room smelled. Just rancid. The refrigerator didn't work. The TV is straight out of 1988. The towels are threadbare at best. No washcloths, shampoo, nothing but the smallest piece of soap I've ever seen. There was a LOT of highway noise.
You could see they had painted the rooms to look more stylish. So some effort has been put into the place.
I am not an expert, but I took some pictures that looked like black mold in the bathroom. And I felt HORRIBLE the entire time I stayed there.
Just know what you're getting into.

I am .a Texas attorney. I travel frequently and am very cost conscious. I highly recommend this motel. The price is very reasonable (comparable to Motel 6), and the owner is extremely helpful. He shows pride in the motel's appearance and upkeep. Rooms are good sized, clean, and have micros and refrigerators. Good cold AC and cable TV. There was even a cute perfumed soap for the bath. The location is right on I35 and close to service stations and restaurants. Well lit and I felt safe here. Bravo. Good job. This motel deserves your business.
