great stay
wendy pon 19/11/2017 15:54Well maintained, new looking. Excellent for an overnight visit to see machu picchu. They picked us up at the train station and were going to deliver our bags to the train station after machu visit but we finished early. Breakfast buffet was excellent, including an omelet station.. and it was open at 4:30am for an early start.
A Pleasant Rest After a Long Walk
grubbyraton 17/11/2017 00:58Upon our arrival in Aguas Caliente The hotel staff met us at the train station to take our bags to the hotel so we could go directly to the bus to Machu Picchu. Be sure your travel people make this arrangement.After a day of trekking about the mountain
the hotel was a short walk from the bus depot and a welcome site. Check in was quick and smooth, retrieved our bags and went to enjoy our room. Spacious and comfortable well appointed, clean and neat. The view out the window was over a back yard across the alley that must have belonged to an eclectic collector of construction material but the dog in the orange jersey and green shorts was worth it. The breakfast served the next morning was exceptional from the service to the food. Coffee was very good and views out the front window spectacular. Keep in mind everything electric in this country is 220 volt !! They also offer hang around service in the lobby while waiting on your train.

Brit_F_0099on 14/11/2017 21:12No wonder this property is #1 in Machu Picchu/Aguas Calientes. It is clean and spacious. It reminded me of a Hilton in the U.S. I travel for business 70 nights a year and this hotel is in the top 10%. And you can't beat that they are willing to meet you at the train station to guide you to the hotel! I also highly recommend the breakfast buffet. Great tasting and plenty of options. Would definitely stay there again if I took the trip of a lifetime a second time.

TVMP is safe with friendly staff, great location to everything. We would highly recommend this hotel in Aguas. And the price was reasonable too. We stayed three nights!
A welcome retreat
MeredithB1944on 08/11/2017 06:02This is a very nice hotel. The breakfast served was delightful; the rooms clean; the staff attentive. Well worth the price. Rooms opened on a central shaft; the elevator worked. There's a computer room on the second floor; it was easy to get online, even in English.
