A stylish and upmarket venue, lovingly maintained by the owners who live on the premises. They were very welcoming and informative. We only had an overnight stop,but if coming back to Johannesburg, we would definitely stay there again for a longer period.

I often come in SA for business, and after having Tried most of the hotels and the accomodations I have to say that I always come back here.
The compound is first class, the Service is really the top, the rooms are perfect cosy and comfortable. The price is low compared with What you get.

Tladi Lodge made us very welcome for our one night stay. The gardens are beautiful and create a relaxed atmosphere. The bathroom was impressive in our room, perhaps because we were on a corner, with almost as much space as the bedroom. It had a double slipper tub and a 5'x5'shower enclosure, plus a separate toilet enclosure. We appreciated the complementary small decanter of brandy. Breakfast was as good as it gets with absolutely personal service from the chef. The Lodge is located in a quiet suburban neighbourhood close to buy not in Sandton Centre. The distance from Sandton Centre was not a problem for us since our host collected and dropped us daily. We would certainly stay again as this is a nice break from monotonous chain hotels.

I am a regular business traveller at Tladi Lodge and just absolutely love staying there for the following reasons:-
There are only ten guest rooms – very quiet and peaceful. No AC noise to contend with – you wake up in the morning to the delightful bird sounds. The rooms where the thatch is exposed are darker than the rest, but I simply switch on the overhead spotlights when I require brighter lights to work.
The dinner guests average between 1 to 5 guests a night. I often have dinner on my own which I love – it is like having my very own private chef cooking for me. I also love being seated at the big table with all the other guests, where lots of networking happens, friends are made and relationships are formed. The latest chef definitely makes the best meals – better than all their previous chefs, although she does chat a lot.
The breakfasts are made to order with a very wide selection of choices. I try to never have the same food. The fruit salad is fresh, colourful and very varied and you have to try their home made yoghurt – absolutely delicious. The cheese and mustard scones that the owner makes are YUMMY.
It is really easy to book reliable, friendly taxis and tours and management will gladly assist with suggestions and bookings.
