gleaves122on 16/06/2017 21:59I've just had a week here. I can't add much to the other favourable reviews except to say that it's vervwell located for tourism and the owners are very helpful. I had a problem with a tour which they sorted out for me. Rooms are basic but we're perfectly adequate and the price was very good value indeed.
Great location, pleasant staff, but very noisy cleaners!
august01on 04/06/2017 15:04This is genuinely a fabulous location for exploring Thessaloniki - not only is it right next to the main square, but the bus for the airport (78) picks up from just across the street. The prices are reasonable, the free wifi is good, the breakfast is decent - one thing that's not so great is the cleaners, who are very noisy when getting things out of the cleaning cupboard which was close to our room at 5.45 a.m. each morning. They then shouted to each other and clattered and banged around every day. One one morning, they walked into our room without even knocking first when we were still in bed (this was at 8.45 a.m., not 11 a.m. as you might expect!). It was a shame really as it meant I was getting woken every day at 5.45 a.m. and could not get to sleep, although my lucky husband could! This might not be so much of a problem if your room is not near the cleaning cupboard. Perhaps the hotel could provide some do not disturb signs for the doors? The only other issue was that the beds were incredibly hard - so much so my husband still has bruises on his hips from it! I tried to put a blanket provided under the bottom sheet, but it was too thin to make a difference. Great bathroom and shower space - very impressive.
Comfortable very well located hotel with old world ambience
Nina867on 23/05/2017 21:31We were pleasantly surprised by the great location of this hotel considering how reasonably priced it was. It is just blocks from the buzzing Ladadika area filled with outdoor restaurants and bars. We loved the 1920's decor and spacious landings on every floor. The only improvement we'd like to see is in the choices at breakfast.

watd49on 17/05/2017 12:11This is a lovely old building which has such a nice feeling about it. There is a very old fashioned lift which adds to the history of the place.
The hotel is very clean and towels changed every day. They serve a very good free breakfast. The personnel are very pleasant and helpful. One thing not so good is the shower, but the problem can be overcome.
It's in the perfect location, very central.
Would definitely stay there again.

Brian Pon 12/05/2017 06:24I stayed here for a couple nights in February 2017. For the price the room was great. Breakfast was included in a nice dining area. You can take a bus from the airport and get off at Aristotelous Square and you'll be only a few blocks from the hotel. You can easily walk to many attractions like the White Tower or the museum within 15 minutes or so. Friendly and helpful staff.
