Short trip for wedding

My room was nice it had a stove, microwave, the cabinets had Tupperware, plates, glasses and a measuring cup. It had a desk and a couch that turned into a bed. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice but there was a spot on the tub that didn't look that nice. For the free breakfast (7:30am-10am) they had self-served hard boiled eggs, waffle batter to cook on the waffle iron, muffins, pork sausage, oatmeal, apples, oj & apple juice, coffee, milk as well as other things. The hotel's workout room is small it had about three treadmills and maybe one other machine. Overall it was a good clean place to stay.
Just OK in Oklahoma

This hotel fit the requirements for our trip as we were part of a wedding group.
We reserved a spacious 2 bedroom suite but this room has only one bathroom, making it hard for everyone to get ready for the wedding at the same time. You would think with a two bedroom suite that two bathrooms would be a good idea, but not here.
This is a small/cramped hotel and there is VERY little space to maneuver for breakfast. I would skip the breakfast as it is just absurdly crowded and go out to eat if I found myself here again.
The AC levels in the hotel are erratic and unpredictable. The room was intermittently hot and cold and it was never a comfortable night.
The suite beds are only queens and the bedding is pathetic! So you have an AC system that is either too hot or too cold coupled with tiny, thin bedding that barely covers two adults squeezed into a queen sized bed (good times!) and no extra blanket to be found! I ended up sleeping with extra bath towels on top to stay warm.
The housekeeping comes - if you beg!! Three trips to the front desk in person to request service!! And I had already bagged the trash and retrieved more towels myself because - surprise! - we were part of a wedding party and yet, no clean towels, no clean room and so we did “self help” cleaning while begging that the room be serviced for the day.
This hotel is really not good. The employees were very nice but it is so far below the standards I would expect of a Marriott I am surprised it bears the corporate name.
First time in area

We stayed there one night last week-our first stay in a Towne Suites. We were surprised how small the room was-definitely would be tight space for a family because it was pretty small for a couple. It had a refrig/sink/microwave-maybe 2-burner cooktop (forgotten?)
The bed was very firm, almost too hard, but we slept well. There was no highway noise from the Broken Arrow Expy and it was a quiet area.
There were a few restaurants nearby (Oklahoma Joe's barbecue and Steak and Shake were the closest). A Mex restaurant and a Charlestons are just down the road behind it, also a huge Bass Pro Shop. It is right next to a large Holiday Inn Express and a brand-new, just opened La Quinta and a not-yet open Hilton Garden Inn are less than a block away. Someone is building a large convention/hotel behind it so the area is really growing. I didn't see any shopping so you'll have to drive if you want to shop.
I assume this is Marriott's budget extended stay-we prefer Res Inn, but this was ok for one night.
A DAILY CHARGE FOR, GET THIS -- SHEETS...!!!

200 nights a year and this is a first: They charge $10 a day"for sheets." No word if you can bring your own (that's a joke). It's not on the bill, only in a corner of the hotel listing on the Marriott website for this hotel's amenities. Fill in the blank on what's next in terms of fees: rolling over in your bed... walking on the hotel carpets... coming in and out of the lobby door.... use of the A/C????
Excellent Location and Clean Rooms

The hotel is located right off the expressway next to eateries and the Bass Pro Shop. It is modern and while it isnt brand new it is very well taken care of. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast has a nice selection and was well stocked. Would definitely return again when in the area!
