Surprisingly quiet hotel near the freeway. Staff was very nice and the accommodations were what I would expect from this Marriott chain. Breakfast was included - nothing made-to-order, but there were egg sandwiches that could be microwaved. Enough choices, though, that most folks should be fine. Homemade cookies each evening were a nice touch.
Main reason it's not a 5-star is simply this - you can only turn right as you leave the hotel parking lot, forcing a u-turn down the road if your destination was to the North and/or towards downtown. I would imagine the hotel didn't have a say in this, but it was frustrating when my business was to the North, but I had to travel South first every morning.
That said, Downtown Campbell is within walking distance and there are plenty of eating establishments to last a full week. Plus, if the weather is right, it's a pleasant stroll to and from, so the drive issue was not a factor (for me) at night.
Would definitely recommend.

I can deal with a lot in my travels ... Because I travel way too much to get worked up about it.
However, aside from a hotel that is entirely gross, the one thing that bugs me more is rude staff. With a lifetime 1,400 MARRIOTT stays (not including all brands), I have seen a lot.
Management at this property accused me of using a corporate rate that- she claimed - I wasn't entitled to use. My first thought was: okay, they are confirming I'm legit. Then the challenges continued along with "your profile says ...." (I don't have my company in my profile and never have).
The policy is clear - when you use a corporate rate, you have to prove it. Use AAA, show your AAA card. Use a corporate code, show proof you get it. This is as it should be.
But 10 minutes of accusation and discussion is not just unprofessional, it is flat out rude. And, clearly management pulled my profile to see if I qualified, and would be able to see my loyalty too.
Accusing me of cheating the system? Wow. That's a new low.

This place is truly best for an extended stay; it's less price-performing for a traditional short stay (2 nights). However we chose by location - walking distance to downtown Campbell and the PruneYard - and wished to avoid the "room that is 10-feet from busy freeway" hazard of cheaper hotel across the street. Major downside for us was no pool or spa.

I was staying here for a week for a business trip. The room is comfortable and has a kitchen with everything that you need. They didn't bother placing a bottle of water in the empty fridge.
The air-conditioner was good, but had a weird smell to it which added an odor to the room.
The breakfast was decent, but adding actual cooked products would be better. The eggs come as hard boiled in a plastic bag..
Overall the hotel is average and clean, the staff is nice. There's a park and trail nearby, and also free parking.

We stayed in TownePlace Suites for 2 months in summer of 2017. We had a room facing the Trail which is quieter than the other side of the hotel. Manager was very accommodating, hotel staff was always friendly and helpful. Great breakfast served every day. Very positive experience. Los Gatos Creek trail runs next to the hotel,
great park and downtown within short walking distance. (Pricey but what can you expect in Silicon Valley?!)
