Perfect location in the middle of the city centre. People are very friendly and helpful with kind hospitality. The rooms are simple but all clean. Very nice place to find your way in the chaotic cairo city centre.
Great location

Right in the heart of the chaos of Cairo. Good accommodation provided for the price that was paid. The room and shared bathroom were clean and everything worked as it should. There are heaps of great places to eat close by the hotel and the staff can offer suggestions on where to try. The included breakfast was basic but adequate. The included wi-fi was a bit hit and miss but this was the same all over Egypt. The staff were professional and friendly. They had offered us free pick up from the airport but unfortunately when we arrived there was no one there to meet us. Apparently they organised it for the wrong time. We booked a tour of Giza through them for a reasonable price. All in all we were happy with the service provided and would stay here again.
Prime Location in Cairo!

We had a 3-day stay at this hostel after reading many great reviews on Trip Advisor. The hotel staff were knowledgeable about the area and were able to recommend some favourite local restaurants. I wasn't too keen on having a shared bathroom, but the rooms with a private bathroom were sold out when we booked.
The room was clean and simple when we arrived. There was an armoire for us to store our clothing. The A/C had a bucket to collect drips underneath, but this was never a problem. There were two shared bathrooms to use and they were kept clean and stocked with toilet paper. During our stay, we never had issues with the bathrooms being occupied when we needed them. The common room has books to borrow, and satellite TV, but no A/C. Despite our room overlooking a busy street (during Ramadan), we didn't find the noise to be too loud. Unlimited fresh towels were provided, and Wifi is free (and signal strength good) in all rooms.
You can't beat the hotel location. It is so central that you don't need a taxi to visit the shopping district (July 26th street and Ataba Market), many restaurants, and several attractions (Tahrir Square, Museum, Nile Corniche). The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the Ramses Train Station which was very convenient for us.
Great value for money, honest people

For the low budget, this hostel is very good. Their rooms and bathrooms are basic and also clean.
The owner and his staffs are all good people to talk to. And they are willing to help and give advice on anything relating to having a good time in Cairo or Egypt.
They can arrange airport transfers and if you book atleast a certain number of nights, you will get a free transfer.
Location wise is in downtown, busy area and don't have to worry about safety late at night as the area is always filled with people. You can hear traffic from the room, so prepare earplugs if you are a light sleeper. There are lots of restaurants to eat at and there is a confectionery right opposite the hostel.
I got a free upgrade to a room with 4 beds and attached bathroom despite booking for single bed shared bathroom.
In all, I recommend this hostel for budget travellers.
Lovely place with nice staff

As titled, I spent 3 separated nights in travelers house, it just made me be like at home.
The host Adel and the staff Jasmine are super kind and helpful. Jasmine is not just a worker there but becomes one of my best foreign friends, she took me to the famous traditional Koshary restaurant and even cooked for me the night before I left.
This is not a high-class hotel, but definitely a warm place if you want to make some friends and take rest. The location is also very nice, you can easily grab the best dessert downstairs because the best El Abd is just across the street from travelers house. It only takes around 10-15 mins by walk to the museum as well.
The only thing I would expect more is that they can refinish the room if they plan to make something different. Some of the furnitures and facilities are not quite new. But for a backpacker like me, this is still a nice place to stay.
