H8353VLmarkron 09/11/2017 14:02The rates we got at Travelodge were far and away the best in the area. Our expectations for the room were not very high but since we were just planning on being in the room to sleep we weren't overly worried about it being "luxurious". But I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it was a first class room! My only complaint was the lack of an actual "glass" glass in the room for drinks (only paper cups were provided).
Weekend getaway without the crush

Accommodating staff; though quite a few deficiencies in the amenities: non-functioning clock-radio, toilet seat, wall lamp, conditioner, minuscule water-boiler, no croissants despite promise for breakfast (stale bagels instead). BUT: the bed was cosy, drape really excluded light, extra pillows, overall clean and serviceable, even with an iron and board. Wifi half-worked (OK for newer MacBook, lousy for older iPad : signal repeater half-way down hall needs replacement, but the service company never came).
outdated pop in machine

After opening discovered it was very flat as it was 10 months past it's "best before date".
Business trip
J9800SRbriannon 28/10/2017 19:50Stayed here for one night. Got a renovated room. Lady at the front desk was very friendly. Decent breakfast. Would definitely stay here again while in Cambridge.
Worn Down, Needs Attention
Y4557ZEsheilamon 27/10/2017 14:16I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. My parents room was dirty and worn down. It was filled with old furniture, stained bed, peeling wallpaper and a bathtub drain that was filled with hair. My room was somewhat updated. The furniture seemed newer but the attention to cleanliness and maintenance was terrible. The valance for the window was hanging by one corner. The light in between the two beds was full of cobwebs. Side door of building was never secure.
