Check-in was quick & pleasant! We had requested a handicap room online, & following a follow-up call to confirm our request, we did secure one. Wonderful roll-in shower - only problem was the entire bathroom flooded during showers. Room was clean w/all the necessities. Working AC. Comfortable king-sized bed. Several items on the free self-serve breakfast menu, including (but not limited to): scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, biscuits & gravy, waffle machine, hot & cold cereals, toast, muffins, bagels, yogurt, coffee, tea, orange & apple juice. The breakfast room was small, which could have been a seating problem on weekends, but was fine on weekdays. The attendant was very pleasant & most helpful! Although most did not, please don't forget to tip these attendants! It's like going to a restaurant - but you don't get a bill for your meal. We'd originally chosen another hotel closer to our actual destination, but after reading some of the negative reviews of that & other surrounding hotels, we decided to travel a bit further (1 exit). I'm so glad we did, because we were more than pleased with this choice.

Easy and friendly check in and check out. Large clean room (107) with a high, comfortable king size bed, a stuffed chair and ottoman, desk and chair, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron and board, blow dryer, TV and internet and plenty of outlets. The sink was in an alcove off the main room and the bathroom was just a toilet and a tub with a shower. Even though the room and linens were clean, there was a slight odor of dog. I don't know if it is a standard pet room and the odor was only slight, but pointing it out in case someone has an allergy.
The breakfast area was mid size and very clean. The attendant, Shannon, had her hands full with almost total occupancy due to hurrican Irma, but managed to keep things well stocked and clean. On top of all that she was very friendly and cheerfully chatted with almost everybody.
Breakfast consisted of Waffles, Biscuits and Gravy, Hard Boiled Eggs, Scrambled Eggs, Yogurt, Dry Ceral, Oatmeal, (or it may have been grits, I really didn't notice) muffins, pastries, bagels, bread for toast, fruit.

Went for the eclipse. After a long drive and day it was great to stay here with a king size bed, microwave and fridge plus breakfast! The cable picture wasn't too clear but otherwise it was cozy and just what I needed. Friendly staff, ample parking and close to highway. Next to cracker barrel too!

What a great experience! I checked in to a new room with a very comfortable bed. My room was a suite with a dividing wall between the door and bed. The staff was great and breakfast was good and hot. I would absolutely stay again!

I was passing through Columbia and stopped at this hotel. Loved the new rooms and convenient location. Walked next door to Cracker Barrel for dinner. Staff was very friendly and helpful with my questions on the area. Will definitely use this hotel again when in the area.
