GOOD BUDGET HOTEL
LARLoverofItaliaon 13/11/2017 16:58Was quite alarmed by earlier reviews after I booked this. It is not the Ritz but considering the price ... Perfectly acceptable, clean, budget hotel. It is conveniently situated - within walking distance of everything we wanted. The staff were professional; the room was clean and tidy. Some people just want something for nothing.

E2456QTkerrydon 30/10/2017 19:27We arrived at the hotel and our first issue was at the reception when the desk staff had some issue with us paying for the room with a different card than used for booking! Then the room was cold when we went in, wardrobes scored to bare wood, bedside tables with cigarette burns and flaking paint, broken window glass and the the bathroom was disgusting def a health hazard black mouldy tile grout everywhere, cigarette burn in bath, nail used to hold sink taps together, have never had a worse hotel stay ever

jegkeenanon 02/10/2017 14:08Booked here for weekend , simply because travelodge, premiers are usually like for like anywhere you go , not here, how this can be passed off as a hotel I will never know , I have stayed in better hostels , some of the reviews had said it was a bit dated that is an understatement to say the least , not only that the bedding had wine stain or something on it , pulled sheet back and there was hair and lashes lying there.
Dead flies on window ledge , so clearly hadn't been cleaned maybe a quick tidy that about it, the bath was actually yellow it was that old and covered in mastic, where had been previous cracks .
Straight away I knew I wasn't going to be staying there all weekend and booked meldron which was far nicer and not much more expensive , we were offered another room which we declined as had seen enough.
