Very disappointing
Orroghjon 23/10/2017 10:52Stayed in the Travelodge Castletroy for the weekend, never again. Breakfast took over an hour to be served and some of my party had to leave before receiving it, what was served was not very nice at all. The rooms belonging to the younger members of our party were not cleaned at all over the weekend which was disgusting. There was no where to relax other then your room.
Simple budget hotel
moansanon 14/09/2017 22:14The hotel was nice and clean - good for budget travellers. It's not very close to Limerick city, but there is a local bus that runs by, and if you are up for tourist tours to Cliffs of Moher or Kerry, the Paddywagon tour bus stops at the gas station nearby to pick up. The rooms don't have a minibar so if you stay for more then couple of nights, it's not very incovenient if you want to store your drinks or fruits in a cold place.
Economical accommodations
Alex Zon 01/09/2017 09:26For an economical and clean accommodations , the travelodge was the right choice. Free parking and internet with a good location near the university of Limerick. Aldi grocery store next door and a coffee shop is open for breakfast and lunch
Comfortable but no bar or restaurant
Richard Don 16/08/2017 21:28The rooms are very nice, comfortable, clean big, warm. Have a desk with coffee facilities, TV, spacious bathroom. The wifi was pretty good, I don't know why others are saying different. However there is no bar or restaurant on site. There is a little café next door but it didn't look great and closed real early. Net door there is a petrol station and wine place. You can get a lot of stuff in these places.
But if you come out the hotel go left, then go left at the roundabout there a nice hotel called "Castletroy Park Hotel", 10 minute walk, which does amazing food and lots of choice of drink. It is fairly expensive and posh though.
All in all though it was a nice hotel. What you would expect from a Travelodge.
Average hotel, but just a place to sleep.
wee jon 29/07/2017 21:16This is fine as a place to sleep but it is a basic hotel so don't expect it to be anything fancy. The rooms are clean, spacious and basic. There is a tiny tv on the wall and you have to pay extra for wifi. Not much else to say really.
