Good breakfasts for 6 AM (cereal, muffins, juice and coffee) No scrabbled eggs, no pancakes, no waffles. Large dinning room for breakfast with a large TV. Good size room for the price. No air conditioner but the heater works and you can ask for a fan.

Clean but tires, needs some updating. Handy to centre of town and restaurants. Staff friendly and helpful.

I stay here three to four nights a week on business. Owners are super friendly and do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Out of all the hotels in the Monterey area this one is probably my favorite because I feel at home here. And it's the most reasonably priced as well

I can see they try not to spend money and have better quality service.
Breakfast looks very cheap. It is not fresh.

Stayed here overnight for a quick getaway to Monterey for a long weekend. The property was poorly maintained and outdated. The entire room was dirty and I didn't feel safe around the area. I had to ring the bell several times at the reservation desk and stood there for at least 10 - 15 minutes before someone came out to acknowledge and check me in. There was a fire down the block from the property and when we returned from dinner there was a police cruiser in the parking lot. They had just taken someone away and impounded the person's vehicle.
