Staff were pleasant and accommodating but there was an odour on the 4 th floor reminiscent of strong disinfectant. Perhaps some sort of chemical that burned our throats. We had to sleep with the windows wide open and it was cold. The hotel is run down.

Where to start.......don't even consider staying here..dirty,dirty,dirty. Long wait for a shuttle that had no name on the side. Then a guy stops and holds a piece of paper with the Hotel name on it (it should say MOTEL instead). We booked this room for one night before a hotel cruise and I am too embarrassed to say how much we paid. Next time I will sleep in the airport before staying in a dump like this.l

Nothing positive to say.
Started off waiting over 1 hour for an airport shuttle, that is supposedly every 15 minutes.
I ended up in a smoking room - despite booking a non-smoking. The room smelled awful, was dirty, and run down - and looked nothing like the photos on the website. I paid over £100 for night for this - which is extortionate for what you get. Should have slept on the floor of the airport instead...

We weren't too picky when selecting this hotel as it was just a quick stop for the night between flights. Main reason we picked was because close to airport with a free shuttle.
We waited at YVR airport for over 45 minutes for our shuttle, called the hotel and was told one would be there in 15-20 minutes, still nothing 40 minutes later. During that time we saw 2 shuttles pass for every other hotel in the area (with some even having 3 shuttles pass during that time). The shuttle had a tiny piece of paper on the side but driver didn't make any announcement, didn't help anyone with bags, didn't even acknowledge anyone's presence.
We complained when we got to hotel and basically were advised that its a private company that runs the shuttle. He said he would look into it but didn't even apologize. Not a nice intro to our stay.
Both of us (one at 9pm and one at 430am) ran out of hot water in our shower after only about 5 minutes.....but when I shut the water off and turned it back on, the hot water did return.
The hallways were really old and grimy, needs a facelift, or a carpet clean at least. Room was OK. No way I would swim in that pool.

Booked online for night before travel, having had a reasonable stay 10 days before.
At reception, we were told that we had booked a smoking room (absolutely had not!)
and we would need to pay a further $10 to upgrade to a non smoking room!!
When challenged about discrimination to non smokers, they quickly waived this charge.
We were given a room on floor 9....." a business room, recently upgraded".......it was shabby to say the least. Tea/ coffee maker situated in bathroom!!!
Avoid this hotel, we intend to!!!
