Was excited to be going back to the Trianon as from previous experiences it was very good, They say you should never go back and on this occasion was right. The hotel has not changed at all, including the net curtains, which certainly needed replacing. There was so much dust behind the bed and bedside cabinet, the cleaner needs to have the bed pulled out to get at it. The doors needed a good wash down as did the paint work and there were stains on the walls. The Trianon no longer supply the free breakfast, although you are able to buy coffee and individual priced items but the atmosphere was just not the same. They have replaced the furniture in the public lounge but in the rooms everything was looking its age. My balcony needed a good wash down and clean.
The bar/restaurant in the grounds got crowded during their "happy hours" but this was with local residents and I found it hard to even get served during this time whilst staying at the hotel.
The Staff are nice and there is free parking, both of which seem rare nowadays but I don't think I will go back.

All in all this hotel was lovely, had a big room with relaxing sofa and chairs, large clean bathroom, overall very clean and tidy. A couple of grips though, wifi was very intermittent and at times non existent. Also one evening when we were dining at Roy's with friends we were going to have a drink at the Lakehouse Bar and Grill but after trying unsuccessfully to get served it appears that during and near the end of happy hour the bar staff only concentrate on the "locals" ignoring hotel residents. We gave up and had pre dinner drinks at Roy's. Location was great, close to great shopping and dining and although off the 41 was quiet and restful.

We spent a night at the hotel. We arrived late and left early, but the hotel offered everything we needed. The pool and bar seemed very cosy. The surroundings didn't seem very interesting except for the farmer's market on Saturdays.

I really needed a place to stay with working internet service. I had to use my phone for research and used up my personal data. Not very happy about this. One front desk agent was aware of the problem and the other insinuated that I didn't know how to use my own iPad. Will not stay here again.

I stayed here twice. It really feels like your classic Luxury hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable and the hotel was conveniently near a shopping mall. The bartender was friendly he kept the bar open a few minutes later so we can finish up our drinks. Really loved this place.
