The reception was warm and Spanish and So is everything: Spanish guests, Spanish speaking staff and holiday atmosphere! Rooms are older but clean and good enough for a beach holiday. Bar inside and pool bar with friendly staff and small garden and swimmingpool are cosy ! You can have a good breakfast with lots of choice ( for Spanish standards ) and at noon you can eat a one course dish like paella or fideua at 8 euro! Normal price level also in the bar!
In August rooms are rather expensive!

We got a huge family room with sea views.The breakfast was plenty and good,how ever missing fresh fruits (as Spain has plenty to offer).Clean room and the children love the swimming pool.There is a huge lounge to chill out after a long day.

If you're going to FIB, the location of this hotel possibly could be bettered - its about 10 mins walk to the supermarket/cash machine/tabac and 45 mins to the festival site. Bearing in mind that hotel Orange is still a good 25 min walk to the festival entrance it's not actually that bad. I timed the walk one night to see, you might get a taxi on Thurs but the rest of the weekend you're definitely walking! On the plus side the Heliopolis beach is right on the doorstep and a bit quieter than the main area near the supermarket. Breakfast was included and had the usual bread meat and cheeses, cereals, coffee machine and juices; nice seafood and chicken restaurants to either side for later in the day. The staff were super helpful and accommodating, the room could've been a bit better (cracked toilet seat and broken shower fixture) but the air con was perfect and the balcony had a lovely view of the beach. Room was cleaned and towels changed daily, bedding every three days. All in I would recommend this hotel for the festival - certainly 100% better than camping in the July Spanish sun!

Clean hotel with good facilities, right on the beach. Excellent breakfast, whilst it was rather noisy from other hotel guests, that's what you expect during the FIB festival, and overall it was a great place to stay.

On our way back from Portugal to France we had a stop for a night at Benicasim. We booked that hotel last minute for a family and only for one night.
Even if the hotel needs to be renovated and the breakfast improved, the location is amazing (we had a sea view room) and the room/bathrooms are clean.
No time to enjoy and discover the city but we could enjoy the beach and the swimming pool.
