The Tropicana is located close to the Boardwalk, with easy access to the beach and bike rental, convenient to the DooWop Diner, Olympic Flame and Mack's Pizza for food. Also close to the Convention Center. While the rooms need updating, the beds are comfortable, and the area quiet for sleeping. One caviat: the air conditioner is NOISY, so you have to cool down the room, then turn it off during the night. It can get warm on the upper floors.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a great experience. The hotel manager was very accommodating and checked us in early even though check-in was not for another few hours. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and we felt very safe. The room while outdated was very clean. We will definitely going back to this hotel.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The pool was very nice and the location to the boardwalk is really great! I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Had a very good experience with the staff. They were helpful and very friendly. Would absolutely stay here again. Also it was only a block away from the boardwalk so your car can stay at the hotel while you go have fun. I would recommend this place to anyone going there.

The location was right near everything. The mattresses were brand new, the decor wasnt outdated, brand new air conditioner/ fridge/microwave, it was decent for a motel. The staff answered all of our questions and helped us with parking. The only issue that I had was that the bathroom was not cleaned well, it smelt like pure urin.
