I had the pleasure of staying at this property from 11/15-11/17/2017. The rooms were spotless and the food in the two restaurants on site was very good. BUT, what transpired at the end of my stay is what REALLY set this hotel apart! I checked out very early on 11/17 and left my suitcase near the sliding doors while waiting on the valet to bring me my rental car. The plan was to finish up my last bit of business and return for my bag on the way to the Albrook airport. My bag got commingled with a large tourist group’s luggage and was gone when I returned! Algy Bethancourt and her staff went into action! They studied security footage to see which of the 3 departing groups ended up with my bag. It was located, transported back to the hotel then Algy sent me multiple updates via emails and phone calls keeping me apprised of it’s eventual delivery to Bocas town on Isla Bastimientos. She booked it’s “passage”, confirmed it’s arrival at the Bocas airport, then let me know when it arrived. All at no expense to me! It is THIS level of service that sets Algy Bethancourt apart from the rest. She took personal concern for me and my situation and was very, very, patient and accommodating throughout this unusual ordeal!

Very convenient place, the hotel is modern and have clean nice rooms, breakfast is very complete and one day with a room order they had a mistake in my order so I let them know and in the afternoon they send an apologize note with a plate of fruit. Also mall next door is big with all kinds of stores.

We chose the Wyndham at Albrook Mall for our return to Panama City from the U.S. because we would take the bus back home and the terminal is located outside the mall. Out check-in was very pleasant and the desk clerk spoke perfect English. Our room was quite comfortable and the pillows were awesome! Breakfast offerings were good, but the large dining room was packed and service for coffee refills was spotty. Overall, a great stay and would be the perfect place to stay for a shopping trip to Albrook Mall - the largest mall in Central America.

I stayed here for 2 nights during a business visit.
I was slightly worried about the noise, due to the closeness to a big mall, a busy thoroughfare and an airport (not the main one!)
All my fears were unfounded. I had very comfortable stay.
The staff were friendly, the breakfast spread excellent, wifi speed very good!
I would not hesitate to come back.

I stayed at this hotel with the intention of being there only a few days. I planned to try a variety of hotels because it was my first time in panama. I end up staying there the entire time while in Panama City. What a difference front desk hospitality can make!!! Astrid and Bryan greeted me and were warm, caring, and helpful in answering questions during my stay
