I stayed in this hotel for a week during a business trip. It was fine but nothing impressive. The location is great beside Oriente metro/train station but that's it. The staff are not very helpful. The room was clean but on the night I arrived I tried to take a shower and couldn't as there was no hot water. The reception said "you need to wait for 15 to 20 min. to get it as u are in a high floor!" I don't know about you but I don't think this is OK.
The breakfast was not great as well, not the best variety or quality of food plus the restaurant itself is small given the no. of people who were in the hotel at that time.

We spent 2 nights here and had a good time along the water front. It's only 20 minutes from the Alfama by subway. The rooms are clean and modernly furnished. The breakfasts were excellent with a wide selection of hot and cold items. The pastries were better than some I had in specialty shops. The staff is very helpful and will recommend things to do and places to visit. We came in late from NY and we asked about choosing one of the many restaurant along the water front walkway. They suggested instead to visit the Vasco de Gama shopping center's food court.The meals were very authentic and the locals there were very helpful and friendly. As a matter of fact many of the local ate there. It was a excellent suggestion.

I made a trip to Lisbon on the occasion of my marathon with my children. The Hotel is in a great location, served by public transport, not far from the sea. The modern and functional rooms are also comfortable.
the only painful note of the stay: the morning of the marathon as I had to get to the resort of departure I had to leave the hotel at 06:30 so it was not possible to have breakfast. I asked the staff if it was possible to anticipate at the same time the sporting event but I did not content myself ............. !!!!!
I urge the management to be more flexible with the guests, at least when there are needs and events of an international nature, also because I was not the only athlete participating in the marathon.

The hotel is just wonderful and a great location. The staff were amazing and could not do enough for you. Food was delicious great variety. The bedrooms were beautiful and very spacious. I would highly recommend this terrific hotel. We were a group of forty seven and we all were so impressed with this great hotel.

I was in the nightmare for close to 2 weeks.
The TV didn't turn on.
I had to call the front desk every morning for an ironing board.
Outlets in the room were broken.
The breakfast is sub par at best.
When I complained. They then brought me a broken iron.
The laundry service was 120 Euro for normal was and fold of some socks and shirts.
The mattress are cheap and uncomfortable
The staff was unhelpful and rude the management unresponsive.
If I hadn't pre paid the room I would have walked out.
Save yourself the time and trouble book one of the other 1000 hotels in the city.
