Going above and beyond!
cepageton 07/05/2017 09:51We arrived after a 25k hike on the Camino to a very well appointed room with very comfortable beds. The room was very warm and I could not figure out how to open the window. One quick call to front desk and help was immediately at our door. The breakfast buffet is by far the best yet and we've experienced many since Porto. Chocolate croissants plus many other wonderful pastries, perfectly scrambled eggs, but the best was the classic toast with olive oil, grated tomatoes and salt. An excellent assortment of cheeses and quince preserve along with traditional potato tortilla. These are items we had not seen as yet and so appreciated them. Thank you for such great service and a lovely stay.
Very nice hotel, convenient to a great store
Arthur Ron 10/04/2017 21:38The rooms were nice, as was the breakfast. The hotel is a little off the Camino De Santiago, but not too far.
We needed supplies, and the staff directed us to a near-by very large indoor store selling everything from food to clothes. About a five-minute walk.

Large, impersonal hotel

The negatives - while the person on the front desk in the morning was polite and friendly, the person who checked me in lectured me about not smoking in the room. And I am definitely not a smoker! And, not my lucky night, guests were noisy and inconsiderate - laughing and talking loudly in the hallways well past midnight and again before 7 am. Also, the hotel pipes music in the hallways that was loud and played far too late for a weary traveller.
Close to Portuguese Coastal Camino Way
dialrighton 04/06/2016 16:22There are some complaints about location not central. If you are walking the Portuguese Coastal Way it is the best location. It is just a short walk off the Way, so you can check in, wash up, dump your backpack and then walk to the central town. We found the walk into town to be very pleasant because the route is mostly crowded shopping streets.
The hotel is modern and clean. The room is comfortable. Decent bathroom. The staff were very helpful, spending some time with us and a map to show us the best walking route to explore Vigo.
Terrific buffet breakfast.
