Disapointing
Dave Hon 19/11/2017 15:18Stayed here with friends and found the air freshener smell in the corridors to be overpowering and in some cases it felt like it was being used to cover up less welcoming smells. One of our group even commented that it wasa bit like a Porta-Loo liquid smell. The hotel is looking tired and dated and our room appeared to need repainting too. We did not make use of the bar or restaurant area so cannot comment on these facilities. Car parking was a bit of an issue and it was also noted that the space for disabled drivers was small and a wheelchair user would struggle to get out of their car.

In the hallways and staircases the hotel has installed air-freshener machines. This means it smells very strong everywhere. I suspect there is a reason for this action which could be that the hotel has problems with the inner climate in the building.
In my bathroom the ceiling was black and coming off due to fungus. See photo.
I am happy only to stay one night as I was not feeling good afterwards.
For people with lung problems this could be a bad experience.
The staff was nice and breakfast was okay but this can’t save this stay.

our room given was cleaned and comfort - however just too bad the the hotel was over priced
Great staff - shame about the smell
758marilynwon 29/09/2017 09:28The staff were very helpful and friendly and the restaurant food was tasty at a reasonable price. Our room was clean ( turning left from the elevator on the second floor) but as we approached it we were met by a smell of drains -unpleasant!
We chose this hotel as it was outside the emission zone. It was a five minute walk to the nearest tram stop. This method of travel is good value in Belgium.
Nice Hotel for Overnight Stay
Sean Con 14/08/2017 14:42We enjoyed our overnight stay at this hotel which was good value. Our room was clean and quiet. On checking in, the young man on reception was very polite and efficient. The outdoor car park is spacious and easy to access and has further parking at the rear of hotel. We ate in the bar and the food was nice. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city centre but tram nearby or approximately 10 minutes taxi ride away. The weather was warm and sunny and it was nice sitting at the tables and chairs on the outdoor patio area. Unable to comment on breakfast as did not have this here. The staff were very friendly and polite and made us feel welcome. We will definitely stay there again.
