Good value hotel
Joanna Nakopoul... &on 02/09/2017 10:30Perfectly adequate hotel, easy to get to and good parking. All staff friendly, helpful and English speaking.
Family room was very large and comfortable.
Breakfast was at adjacent Laplace, option of 10euro all you can eat or we went for the six items plus coffee and orange juice for less than 5.
Nearest hotel we could find to de molen brewery.
Basic but good

Issue with other guests slamming doors into the night but management were prompt at resolving this.

365patricepon 10/08/2017 09:13Nice place, worth the money.No problem and the location is quiet.The room was okay though a simpler shower might have worked as well. The bath is a bit oversized;I liked the table, chairs, easy wi-fi and free parking.
Mostly good, but some things must be fixed
Kjetil Son 05/08/2017 21:11We were on a "road trip holiday" in The Netherlands, and since Bodegraven is situated pretty much in the center of the area we wanted to drive around in (Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Eindhoven, etc.), that was the main reason why we chose Tulip Inn Bodegraven.
Service at the reception and with the cleaning crew was good. We felt welcome and taken care of.
The room was clean on arrival and was quite spaceous. They kept the room fairly clean during or one-week stay.
The room had no air condition system. So it was very hot during then night. Also because of this we had to keep our French balcony door open all night.
The hotel is right next to a trafficked highway and a popular McDonalds. This generated a lot of noise which was impossible to keep out because we had to keep the balcony door open.
The breakfast system at the next door restaurant (La Place) was horrible. The selection was unacceptable when you pay €10 per adult and €5 per child. Also, the crew working at La Place gave mixed signals about what we could take and there was no written information anywhere about the breakfast. Also, 90 % of the crew of La Place actually was quite rude to us when we talked to them. I hope the hotel can look into this.
The receptionist at Tulip Inn did compensate our breakfast a bit since we informed about our experience, so that was good service though.
Also a big minus that you only had stairs as an option to get into the hotel (disabled people?).
Free parking and wifi is good!

mario_itnaon 03/06/2017 13:29This hotel is at a perfect distance if you plan to visit Gouda, Delft and the neighborhood. It is very close to the highway (but far enough not to hear it). It has a free parking area and it is close by a MacDonald. We booked a double room for one night and, despite the renovation the hotel is currently having, we had a very good impression: personnel is friendly, helpful and speaks good English; we even received a small complimentary bottle of wine from the hotel to apologize for the inconvenience due to renovation. The room was spacious, clean and neat, beds very comfortable, bathroom was spacious with all the comforts. WIFI is provide free of charge. Hotel is animal friendly and we could bring our dog informing them in advance. I definitely recommend it for a short or long peaceful stay.
