Excellent location with the important landmarks at a walkable distance. If you are arriving at day time, ensure that you catch autos from the place the cabs drop you as cabs are not allowed in the narrow lanes during peak hours.
Since it is besides the road, it is not very quiet.
Very good restaurant with helpful staff.

I stayed here for couple of nights & services & amenities were above expectations of amount i paid for, staff is young & they pay a lot attention on everything, i felt home since i checked inn & they helped us till we checked out, Restaurent roof top is superb, food quality is excellent, View is amazing. Will recommend & will be back soon here.

Rooms were clean, comfortable and staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive. Loved the rooftop area and spent our nights sitting up here with a drink and nibblies enjoying the sensational views and atmosphere.

Stayed with family for 3 nights. 2 young kids (aged 7 and 9), wife and myself.
Spacious rooms, quite clean and a great 5th floor restaurant with 360 degree view of Udaipur. Attitude of staff is good. Many tourist locations (lake pichola, Bagore ki haveli, Jagdish temple and City Palace) and many good eateries are within walking distance (200- 400 metres). Overall a good experience.
I am reading quite a few negative reviews here. It appears they relate to old trips. The hotel has been renovated in early 2017 and this reflects in its current offering.

My family and I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel when it just started and look forward to an opportunity to visit again. To capture the pulse of this throbbing/charming city you have to stay in this hotel.
Each room is tastefully designed using the proud Rajasthani motifs and no two rooms are alike. They artfully blend modern convenience like AC and a modern toilet without disturbing the aura they create.
The roof top restaurant just blows you away, in fact the view is so distracting be careful that you do not bite your tongue when you taste the local fare served by a hospitable staff with a flare only a Rajput can manage.
I believe this is easily the highest point in Udaipur and the entire old city is there for your to gaze at endlessly.
I can go on and on but you must stay here to experience it. The romance of Udaipur gets to you and the hotel staff add to the charm. The owner is from Udaipur and has lots of stories to share about the city which he is so proud of.
If you are not the sort who likes to close your experience and stay in sanitized five star hotels, you will love this experience.
