Located right in the middle of downtown, there is easy access to restaurants, shops, monuments, the beach, etc. Upon walking in the room, the bathroom smelled horrible, but the room was really nice other than that. Breakfast buffet was really nice and included fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, ham, and an espresso machine that made fabulous coffee. Bar on the first floor also had great hours and service

The Ulises Hotel is located in the center of the shopping section. Near restaurants and bars, it is an easy walk to just about everywhere.
Parking is just up the street...and I mean uphill...but not too far away compared to other hotels.
There is a nice bar with tapas and a friendly staff to greet you. The rooms are up to date. The major drawback is that the ventilation system seemed to leave a rather unpleasant smell. We opened the windows and it helped.
We have stayed at this hotel before, and if we make it to Ceuta again, we will stay there once more.

We loved it and we har stayed 2 times during la feria de Ceuta! We live in Sweden but have family in Ceuta and wanted a hotel with a cental location, nice rooms and great value for money. We got that and then some! We have stayed once on the 5th floor in a big and nice room with a balcony overlooking the hotel pool and it had a seaview and once in the presidential suit, also with sea view, Jacuzzi and double balconies. We come back for the great friendly staff, the central location and great value for money. The staff does it for this hotel. They are wonderful.The hotel in its self is great but you need to know a couple of things. If you travel with a trolley be aware that the elavator is small. Breakfasts option are rather slim but you just need to ask and what ever you are missing the attentive staff will try to get you. The pool is average sized and unfortunately the pool area could be better taken cared of. Not for children I would say but perfect for a cool off in the summer heat. However you have the wonderful water park about 100 meters from the hotel and in the oposite direction, at approx the same distance the beach, so we have never feel the need to used it. The rooms are clean and all has very nice modern decor! Large bathrooms.The beds are huge and comfortable. If you can book the presidential suit. I feel like I'm coming home every time I have been there. We will def come back.

We have spent a week end with the family in Ulises hotel. The location is really good with nearby underground parking. Despite being in the center the hotel is not noisy. We got the family room with a practical and fun design and a balcony. Although the hotel room was clean this could not be said of the bathroom. The paper holder hangs from the wall, the bathtub is rusty and you have live cockroaches in the toilet which should never happen in a hotel like this.
The breakfast is basic and two out of two days both coffee machines were out of order so forget hot drinks. Despite complaints from the guests nothing was done so the solution is to get down to the bar and buy yourself some coffee. The dishes and glasses are all dirty like they were not washed at all. The remains of other food is stuck to the plates and glasses are barely transparent.
The evening receptionist was nice but daytime staff was unfriendly and did not even speak other than Spanish, which should not happen in a hotel that is rated this high.
Overall I would avoid Ulises hotel and will for sure opt for another solution when visiting Ceuta.

The hotel is in a perfect place, in the middle of the main shopping area surrounded by lots of shops and some cafes. The hotel is very clean and they put enough toiletries enough for all the persons in the room including new toothbrushes and razor kits. It is a bit pricy especially it doesn't include breakfast unless u pay more. When we arrived our room was not ready and we had to wait for around 2 hours waiting for our room to be cleaned plus it was lunch time so most of the shops were closed so we couldn't do anything but waiting. Our door card didn't operate properly and when we informed the reception desk no one fixed it. Other than that it was fine and the beds were comfortable.
