We stayed here after a very basic hotel so the luxury of it all was very welcome indeed, in fact we couldn't believe we were at the right hotel when we got there it was so lovely.
Beautiful bedroom, comfy beds and lovely hot powerful shower.
Breakfast is very good, lots of choice and omelettes etc made to order.
The hotel organised a driver for us to go to the Amber Fort and City Palace etc which was great value, good car and informative driver.
The rooftop restaurant is ok but expensive and we had better food elsewhere although the shared platter with samosas and bhajis and a beer when we got back from sightseeing was really good.
The pool is in the basement next to the restaurant so didn't get any sun which is a shame.
Gorgeous hotel

This place is very elegant. Many beautiful details. Rooms comfortable. We were two singles staying here and bed was made as double when we arrived but they were very happy to remake them as twin beds. Hotel and grounds are spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Front desk and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy to arrange transportation at short notice. The rooftop restaurant is beautiful and the food was excellent. Full bar.
A pleasant stay

Lovely heritage hotel in a good location. Delicious food and a good view at night from their roof restaurant. Nice varied breakfast. Clean and tidy throughout. Didn't use the pool as not in a sunny area but looked clean.
Beautiful hotel, luxury

I enjoyed my stay with family in Umaid Mahal. Breakfast was delicious as well as diverse. Staff was nice. Hotel was located far away from the well-known pink city. Had a wonderful view from the roof top terrace. We had dinner once there with real Indian entertainment, however, this was rather awkward than amusing. Rickshaw right in front of hotel but for an expensive price. Pool is noisy and really small. In conclusion, I want to recommend this hotel for people that want some luxury after a long day in the busy streets of Jaipur.
