Stayed at the Urban Beach November 3-5, loved the quirky, friendly atmosphere and staff. Food was the best we have had in a long time and we eat out quite regularly.
The room was warm, clean, comfortable and suited us. Great couple of days.

My husband and stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed out stay. The hotel is very very laid back and relaxed. We had booked online and our first impression on the outside of the hotel did not match up to the pictures of the bedrooms we had seen when booking.
We arrived early Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was very very full. I presume lots of local people came for Sunday Lunch. We were welcomed and immediately taken to our room. There was no registering our arrival and no credit card details were taken which was very nice. Our room was clean, a small fridge and a nice unsuite with a shower.
That afternoon we went to Boscombe beach and pier, which is just a short walk. The beach there is beautiful and sandy. In the evening we ate in the hotel restaurant and although we were the only hotel guests in the main part of the restaurant, the staff were extremely good and would come and chat. The food was very good and we had a very pleasant evening. Breakfast was also very good. On our second evening the restaurant was half full, but the service and the food was still very good. If you are eating here try their Beef Wellington, it was excellent.
The best part about this hotel is the staff. They really cannot do enough to help you enjoy your stay. They are friendly,extremely helpful and fun. We are elderly and the staff quite young, and initially we thought we might feel out of place, but we were wrong. It was a very pleasant few days away, with good food and a few glasses of wine.

We loved the Urban Beach. Very natural, friendly staff (all of them we encountered). Quirky styling, very handy for Boscombe beach. We walked the 2 miles or so to Bournemouth which was a nice easy wander.
On arrival we were offered the to look at the three rooms and choose which we liked, which I thought was a nice touch.
Breakfast (which wasn't included as we booked through third party website) but book direct and its included. Anyway we ordered it extra and it was delicious, fresh local produce, excellent quality.
We hope to be back soon.

A great relaxing place for eating and drinking. (I've yet to stay in the hotel!) The outside seating area is perfect in the summer with the roof rolled back and cosy in the winter when the fire is lit and you can switch your own heated seat on. Great for families as well as everyone else and I highly recommend the Sunday roast which is 2nd only to my Mum's!

I stayed at this B&B which was booked by my PA for me due to the location relative to the Vitality Stadium as BHA were playing Bournemouth and I was attending.
I had a single room which was probably the smallest room I have stayed in however, it was very well designed / laid out so it worked! The Ensuite was a reasonable size and the fittings throughout were good quality finish and condition.
The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of closet space.
Big flat screen TV; all the tea /coffee makings one needed and toiletries were made available.
Quite impressive for the cost.
The welcome and service was faultless and the staff are great ambassadors for this business.
The bar areas on the ground floor are very good indoors and out. The outside booths had heated seats that patrons can turn on and off themselves.
I did not eat here but those around me whom were commented on the good value and quality. The atmosphere was unrushed, friendly and comfortable.
